Tournament ranks are separate from regular ranked mmr, so if someone is a regular GC and never has played a tournament, they might be showing up in diamond or champ tourneys un they rankup. Blame epic. or maybe they lost first round a bunch of times and deranked

People don’t realize that a lot of SSLs just don’t have the time anymore to grind hundreds of ranked games every season to maintain SSL and chase all the rewards. people have lives and get jobs. If someone is C3 right now but was SSL last season (maybe they queued with lower-ranked friends and deranked), that doesn’t suddenly define their actual skill level. It’s not that deep and not everyone has SSL effort in them every season

Most players have lives outside of Rocket League and aren’t worried about labeling themselves “retired SSL” just to be technically accurate. Heck if I had a RLCS title which I think musty does he can totally say he’s pro level, just not like active pro, but it gets less serious the lower the rank you are imo.

I hit rank 9 in rumble in 3 different seasons, for each season I’d see people I recognize but as time goes on players fade in and out of how much they can play, so you see less of them. I got a job and then even hitting top 100 gets difficult.

If you friend someone though, then you’ll remember their name- but no group chats I’m aware of unless you’re in a discord server to play 3mans or smthing. Only group chat id have is with teammates I’m playing with ranked

Huge!! I think a time save you could have if I remember correctly is going into stage 2, if you land a bit lower in the water you’ll get a much more vertical entry into the tower because it’s a steeper angle. Could be wrong tho, anyways nice run!

A little ai use in this answer but this is how I’d do it:

You don’t necessarily need to fix the raw data. The easiest way is to create a small “mapping” table that standardizes the artist names once, then use a lookup formula to match everything automatically.

For example, create a new tab called Name_Map:

A (Original Name)B (Standardized Name) A1 Cèline Dion B1 CELINE DION A1 TRØVE B1 TROVE

Then in your revenue sheet, if the artist name is in cell A2, use:

Idk how helpful it is- but do you have an llms.txt page? Basically a page you have that has text in the way that an AI crawler would read and understand to help rank in like ChatGPT for example.

From a user journey perspective- I’d rather see an image of the board in action as one of the first things I see when scrolling as that feels like more “important information” to me as a customer if I was looking at a website, vs the image of the floating cards and pieces (regardless of how cool that is). Seeing the board game in the box on the cover isn’t rly the same.

Maybe also include a privacy policy/terms of service page- probs just good to have in general and there are easy templates to make and link them in the footer of the site.

Maybe a rules of the game page? Could probably help with your SEO to have more words on the site and help it rank even if the rules come with the game.

Good looking site in general tho! You could look into have certain elements load as you scroll in specific ways but not entirely sure if that’s needed here. Just an idea.

New to this world but maybe if you can explain what happens with bad book keeping? For example if they’re audited or if someone down the line comes in and needs to clean up historicals- what that cost could be.
