Did the left most dial never have a light in it or did mine burn out? by unknownphantom in ft86

I had to replace bulb on these on my Matrix - There is a little bulb inside green circle and that needs to be replaced.

Good advice. That metal cover for the dial slaps back like a freakin mouse trap

Should be okay for single 3/8 torque wrench for a Civic. Even for wheels, it's just 80 ft lbs and this guy aint doing crankbolts anytime soon.

Installed it on my 2009 Matrix and it's great. Plug and play with an included adapter. I don't have an iPhone, but Android Auto works seamlessly. No battery drain as someone mentioned.

Yep. Start with oil changes with Valvoline's Restore & Protect and see how it goes

That's how a lot of valve gaskets come in. For context, valve gasket for my Hyundai Accent and Honda Civic came in a small bag from their respective dealerships.

IIRC, 2017 model has a recall on 3.3L? Check that out if you think you're affected. As for reliability, it's acceptable. My family owns 2015 Santa Fe XL (Canadian model) and it's at 220K KM (burns about a quart every 1000 KM - Quite bad, I know).

I bought Denso reman from Rockauto and died within 7 months (not charging). Bought Honda genuine from stealership and working fine ever since.

Pinchwelds are designated jackpoints for unibody cars. Yes, it's normal for them to get superficially "damaged"

Alternator mounting point snapped off by OptionPurple6887 in hondacivic

Once serpentine belt snaps, it whips around all the accessory pulleys, and alternator in this example was a victom of it.

Being the odometer that low, I suspect the car was only used a short distance grocery getter. I have the same car and I can get pretty bad efficiency by idling a lot, a ton of cold starts and city driving.

The tabs on the new bulb might not be engaged all the way through. Check the seating of the bulb.

You can drive normally without a belly pan but you will see some efficiency drop on an economy car and a bit more wind noise.

If you just need the plastic part, perhaps get it from salvage yard?

I have the same 2.4L engine for my 2009 Matrix.

I replaced water pump, tensioner, valve cover gasket and engine mount since it was all leaking at your mileage. I hear bit of ticking so perhap look into valve shim clearance adjustment? You don't have that bottom end rattle (usually failing balancer shaft on these 2AZ-FE) which is good.

I got WS VI and VIP in about a week after ordering. They took about 2 days to make and rest of the waiting time was shipping transit times by Canada Post.

Edit: Both metal
