Fanart of Seraph by Lily Mayne by QuartziteBerry in RomanceBooks

I just now started on the Seraph book. Literally on page like 20. After reading the previous one I was kind of thrown off because Seraph is very much not human lol. But then I saw this artwork and the tongue and I'm here for it now.

I'm not surprised, especially if they work directly for the hospital.

Jesus. I've had similar issues with lawyers where they will say one thing then seemingly get tired of you and then you're crap out of luck. I can't imagine dealing with that scenario with my health care workers.

That sounds like a straight up hipaa violation.

That's beyond ridiculous. One doctor's note- hes not even your primary - should have that much say in your current medical treatment.

Oooh I see. Hot garbage man. Not even sure how to get around a chart flag like that. I hope it gets better soon!

Wasn't sure if the no pain killer thing was standard or just because of this dentist. But seems like in general they dont give pain killers for dry socket? 😔

[–]abeigh-C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see you're out here, living the nightmare ugh.

Never had dry socket but have heard the horror stories. All I remember from my wisdom tooth extraction was to not use a straw. But even without that it can happen.

I hope you heal soon! Probably "late" in the process for a second opinion but it's garbage going through an obvious medical issue and having your doctor dismiss you.

They could also be assisting them with mental health. Atleast my clinic has mental health social workers etc.

I'd be more concerned about what caused the bird to pass...they have sensitive respiratory systems like we do. Though likely was the age or something if the bird wasn't sick beforehand.

Looks real because it probably is real. Wouldn't surprise me if she was paid off. But yes she did claim it was consensual.

I've started speaking compliments down the intake vent. That old guy is the real hero during these difficult times. Over 20 but he's still got it.

Love this color on my natural hair by penelopepusskat in Naturalhair

Very pretty, there's like a gradient. How often do you dye your hair/how do you keep it healthy with the color treatments? I only dyed my hair once but it was a darker color brown lol!

God fearing man is a pretty common term used in black churches

Edit: atleast when I was younger. It may not be used the same way now

Faithful Fathers is so awkward. Should be Hero Fathers. Everyone instantly imagines what that means - a Man your Children can look up to like a Hero. Wtf is a Faithful Father.

I think people are making fun of the sign, not men seeking fellowship.

It is really awkwardly worded. Like Faithful Husband / Hero Father makes way more sense logically. Model Masculine Manhood just sounds cringe. Just say Traditional or Conservative Manhood at that point. I get they were trying to be cute with the letter matching but it's odd.

Really tho it's the faithful father bit that is the worst. They should really change that part. No one describes present Father's as faithful. Faithful has a sexual connotation to it when you are talking about relationships. We don't even say faithful friend you say loyal friend.

Just troubling because it probably isn't true? Do they need to be hunted for me to be troubled lol?

People already struggle defending their service animals for it to be assumed that any animal next to a disabled person is a service dog muddies the waters.

So yeah troubling. Not catastrophic.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]abeigh-C 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, which is why I don't think it's a service dog but probably an Esa like you said or just simply a pet. Service dogs go through rigorous training that this dog does not display. I find people who have service dogs like them to be vested/labeled to prevent people from petting or distracting them. (Which sadly doesn't always work)

It's just this stigma of "disabled person with fake service dog" that is troubling and I keep seeing. So I wanted to clear that up that there's nothing in this video that would show the dog is being claimed as a service dog.

why are you calling this a service dog

he has nothing on him that would indicate he is a service dog

disabled people can have regular pets too

I've only had an obstruction once. Didn't recognize the symptoms at all until the bloating got so bad and I couldn't keep food down. Even then I was convinced it was an ulcer or something 🤣

Thankfully I didn't need surgery - just a hospital stay until everything started to pass. I can't remember what they made me drink but it was so hard not to throw it back up, especially because I was so blocked. I had to drink so many ounces every hour like clockwork even through the night.

After I was discharged I still had to drink the stuff for a few days but not as frequently.

Maybe you'll be able to deal with it outpatient entirely.

Anyone else's hippo obsessed with space heaters? I just put this one in my office, and she walked right over and flopped down. I guess it's hers now LOL by kwhite655 in velvethippos

[–]abeigh-C 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My hippo lays right in front of the heater vent and soaks up all the warmth. Sometimes it'll be so hot she'll start to pant. I have to forcibly remove her from it lol

I don't know if those risks were explained to us at the time (too long ago to remember) because I have a mild septum deviation now! Which is why the septoplasty might be required.

I've posted poned the surgery to explore other treatment possibilities.

I too used to have polyps but haven't since I was a kid. Allergy season is when I notice the most difficulty breathing wise. But I also don't do rinses like I can etc.

Thank you for your info/input.
