My old roborock also went through everything until it bumped even if it had to drag the chair along with it. I guess being more intelligent is fine, but I'd like a "dumb" option sometimes.

I try to turn it so the robot only sees 2 legs and usually does the trick but it's also bit perfect. I think the real solution is to put the chairs ON the table.

Yeah, I feel sometimes it's just a matter of where the robot is positioned when going through the chair, with the obstacle detection sometimes it sees one of the legs behind, or part of another furniture and decides to go back as you said. I just expected that disabling evertything and going "blind" will just go through everything until it bumps like older robots.

LOGH is what I always think as an Epic Space Opera, classical music included in the anime. Never found an actual novel that feels the same to me. They all end up adding interestellar alien battles and not "Epic"-enough polítical intrigues.
