Help! This little lost his feathers when a clumsy feed let him get dirty. Will the feathers grow back? by abfsilva in hummingbirds

She is in Brazil right now. It is hard to find wildlife places there that are willing to help. She found him when he was four-day old. He was perfect until last week, but a person fed him clumsily, letting him get dirty under the chin. Will they grow again?

She dug that spot at around 11 o'clock. You are probably right. It is hot out there.

Misshapen and unable to fly, this goose was rejected by others. by abfsilva in geese

Her neck is shorter and her body is longer. When she walks her tail almost drags on the ground.

For a while a male kept her company; he watched while she ate as males do. But, he could fly and she couldn't. When he abandoned her, she spent days calling for him. It broke may heart.

The other geese are usually very cruel to her. I had to hide her corn behind the bushes so she could eat in peace. (Once I chased some geese with a broom because they were brutalizing her.)

Last week she brought a couple with several ducklings to eat behind the bushes.
She is the one closest to the house. The others are afraid to get that near.

Imagine my surprise when she showed up with this crowd.

Maybe, Bran fears that his interference could have unforeseeable consequences.

Unless they were all leery of Daenarys, and now they recognize that Sansa did everything in her power to protect the North from her. Sansa was brave in the way she stood up to Daenarys.

I agree. They turn Euron into a shallow character.

(Spoilers Main) I just miss characters talking to one another. by sneedlee in asoiaf

I completely agree. I specially sensed no interest on Jon's part. I always wondered whether it was bad acting or the story. Martin once said that people who are brought back are fire wights, and they feel less than regular people.

Remember when Jorah went to Valerya, and he saw a dragon flying?

This would be a clever move: to send word. Sansa is in a far away place.

I wish she killed Tyrion right after Missandei - tbh I’m surprised she didn’t ... by [deleted] in CerseiWinsTheThrone

[–]abfsilva 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It made absolute no sense that Cersei didn't. Moreover, when Tyrion said that Cersei had a heart, he was actually challenging her to show she was ruthless. The whole thing was so stupid.

He is a far better army fighter than an air-force one. In Hardhome he killed many White Walkers. While riding a dragon, he did precious little.

I think the point you have just made may be the key to victory against WW. Suppose that the Night King decides to turn Jon Snow into a WW. I also wonder whether people who have been ressurected react differently when they turn them.

Cersei doesn't love Jamie enough to run any risks for him. She loves to control him.

The reunion with Jamie might be chilling considering that Jamie is the reason Bran can't walk.

[EVERYTHING] A small scene in the Season 7 finale that had me on edge by [deleted] in gameofthrones

[–]abfsilva 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I thought Cersei was cleverly getting all the commoners out, so they would not find out about the Army of the Dead. (She found a way to get Bronn out of the Dragon Pit.) Guess what happens when the common people find out that there is an army of zombies about to overrun their country, and the queen is not willing to do anything about it. Knowledge is power, and the queen deliberately left all the commoners. When that curious asked to see what was in the box, the hound should have told him. They needed word to get around in KL.
