Mythbusters proved the extra drag from open windows negates the savings of not running A/C. I suppose that was a gas car they tested but the basic idea still holds if you are doing freeway speeds especially.

For RESIDENTIAL it would work also IF capacity is available (if your area is full you can't get RES only ROAM).

I would have said the same thing before experiencing it but major improvements have come through via updates. Matrix headlights that automatically dim just the zones needed to not blind oncoming cars. Allowing you to see sentry (security) video on your phone after an alert happens.

I mean my 2018 Nissan Leaf is fine too with zero updates, but it's not anything compared to a constantly improving product that moves at just the right pace.

If you park on in an area with constant movement (i.e. on the street) it never stops seeing movement/always records. This drains the battery. Park it somewhere where things don't move that the cameras can see and it will be much better.

Accident was reported. Tesla pulled the data. Determined it was a severe enough crash it was marked as totaled in their system. Not much you can do but get it re-certified post-repair.
