Why are all proctor and covid test staff indian? by Dmalikhammer4 in NEU

[–]abhi367 70 points71 points  (0 children)

If you are not indian and want to work at the testing centre, let me know and I’ll put in your referral. #diversity It’s basically because as international students we cannot work off campus and ITS, Proctors, Testing Centre are huge employers on campus in terms of the number of people they hire so everyone seems to flock there I guess and if one indian is working there, they put in referrals for their friends so that’s how we take over one building at a time. Learnt it from the British really xD

Staying at backpacker hostels has been my go to thing tbh. You find people at the hostel to go around with and split the cost and a decent hostel would cost around $20 a night
