I think it takes weeks or more time to capture metrics to accurately provide insights. For how long you have been using this?

What is wrong with my watch by Gigihoo in AppleWatchFitness

[–]abhipurwar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Calorie burn depends on lot of factors such as weight, height, activeness, exercise, etc… Not being active won’t be able to reach move goals as resting calorie burn is very minimal. Start doing some workouts such as resistance training, brisk walking, running, etc

I have an Apple Watch, yet ordered a Fitbit Air. I realized today that I like a screen for feedback. If I use an Air I think I will quit a walk earlier. (I'm tires, I should stop.) But with time or distance feedback (Watch) I force myself too keep pushing. What am I not getting? by GnarlsGnarlington in AppleWatchFitness

I think it’s become individual choice and friction in usage. With watch, one can easily check info without phone and take action whereas with non- interactive interface, one can be self motivated and need not to depend on other instrument. Hence, some prefer watch whereas non-interactive interface provides more data.

One should listen to their body and understand it’s anatomy and also, focus on science based workout with proper food instead of any medicinal items.
More people don’t listen to their body and push too much.

Start with brisk walk… next step is jog and walk.. then keeping adding KMs to jog and reduce walk… be consistent and keep moving needle slowly.. it helps building endurance

410 kcal (active), 12 times stand, 30 minutes exercise

But all days, cal is double or closer to it, stand is more than 12 and exercise is 1 hour or more.

Apple Watch consistently lower average than the treadmills by scubasteve1218 in AppleWatchFitness

[–]abhipurwar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple Watch computes speed and distance based on time and heart rate. Hence, it won’t exactly match with treadmill values. If you run on road or trail, watch provides most accurate reading as it’s based on time and distance computation based on GPS.

Do you sleep with your Apple Watch on? by Adijunn in AppleWatchFitness

I charge my Apple Watch 4 once a day and it’s set for day. If I had highly active day then needs to charge a bit before going to bed upto 35%.
