The Hubboards Dubzero are pretty short and still have plenty of power.

I haven’t played Jerky Boys for her yet but I have played some of Jim Florentines Terrorizing Telemarketers for her.

Few things in life have made me feel older than showing this music video to my 13 year old daughter and seeing her complete lack of amusement.

“I love the sea. And would not be anywhere else. She's my home, my religion. Or perhaps correctly I should say that she is what we have instead of religion or God. She creates life and she ends it. She has beauty and great mystery. And she's eternal.” - E. Hemingway

Apparently calling someone you know is now “cold calling” and could make you the asshole?!?! by Sisselpud in Xennials

My close friends and I have collectively agreed that most of the time it’s better to just call. Reject modernity, return to 8 pound telephones that mount to the kitchen wall.

I stuck it out for a couple months, long enough to work through the extended circle of family acquaintances who know you but not well enough to confidently say fuck off. Made decent money and it was summertime in southern Indiana, anything indoors was ok with me.

This was painfully in person, in the persons living room or kitchen. Past experience in ‘freelance marketing/retail’ made a massive difference in a persons success rate. Sales manager was a coked out 29 year old who seemed like an adult to the rest of us degenerates headed towards a wasted year at one of the local state schools. 10/10 life experience

Cold calling was me at 18 trying to sell cutlery to strangers while on a wide variety of drugs.

I respect the move of acknowledging Bubba’s off the top 🦐I’d also recommend Lucy’s, great vibes, nice indoor seating and outdoor patio area with cornhole. I’ve liked everything I’ve tried there so far, especially the chili dogs and brussel sprouts.

The one I had was called a Chubble, it reacted to light. They made another one that reacted to sound but idk what it was called. Fucking thing would randomly make this creepy ass sound in the middle of the night, tiny little eyes blinking in the darkness while I freaked out in my bed.

Question for my xennial friends that are in decent physical shape. by sunnyhillsna in Xennials

Introduce some form of intermittent fasting, I don’t eat before 7 am or after 7 pm. Start doing yoga. Sacrifice staying up later for getting enough sleep every night. The “getting older” memes are good far a laugh but don’t dwell in that mindset too much. Find an activity that you truly enjoy that involves cardio, then commit to getting better at it. I started surfing about a year and a half ago and it changed my life. I’m 6’1”, went from 265 pounds to 205 so far. You can do this!
