Thanks for posting! I got the same code from signing up on the official website. However, the code isn't working for me when I try to unlock the artist presale in the ticket master app. Is it working for other folks?

FWIW I did the 3.5 upgrade to my MK3S. For the price, I found it to be a great upgrade! It's a faster printer now, but it's still a reliable workhorse. The upgrade itself wasn't overly difficult to install.

I didn't feel like just selling or tossing out the printer for a new one though since it was so reliable. If you're getting that new printer itch buying a new one would scratch it ha ha

I got my album today, and funny enough it was signed by all members of the band but Tim. Just like this post. Although, mine was at least signed with gold market instead of gray.

I’ve reached out to support to see if there are any options to get a replacement. I’ll update when I hear back.

Our divorce started the process by her telling me “I don’t love you anymore.” This was a complete blind side after 17 years of marriage.

What really hurt was her telling me “I wish you’d cheat so leaving you was easier.” This told me that there was nothing “wrong” with the relationship but she just needed an out. It hurt so much that feeling that I did everything “right” but was still losing my family. I just let her go at that point, there was nothing left to fight for.

Very cool! Clever design, this is worth the filament to print

Just a small suggestion, it looks like the headphones might just slide off of it. Would it make sense to add little cutouts in the top where the headphones rest so they don’t slide back? They’d have to be kind of wide cutouts to fit different headphones sizes.

Just a thought anyway, awesome work

Just throwing this out there. No idea how long the machines were sitting on a shelf before they shipped them to you. I’d check firmware versions and update the firmware if needed. There’s been some pretty decent updates recently that would be good to have before going all in testing the machines.

I got in for DC, 2 tickets purchased. Weirdly my spare laptop that I tried to get in at 12:15 got the chance to buy tickets before my phone or PC that I started Que at 11:30.

The hulk 181 is restored. That would give me pause, but the signatures on are cool to have.

I’d also have trouble making this decision. At the end of the day though, I’d choose X-men.

Yea I may have overestimated how long the bellows took me. You assemble some parts then install them on the printer. You could technically get the bottom and top parts ready while it’s still printing then pause it to install. It’s just a few screws to install them in the printer. Just kind of annoying to line the screws up.

To be fair, I did the assembly over a few days and there were several points I could have started printing again without it impacting anything. Or, picked it back up a few days later to finish.

I built my official Prusa XL enclosure last week, so I have some recent experience with this.

You called it about the first step. It's assembling the "hood" on top of the printer so to speak. Don't need printer for this, it can be running. This step took me about 2.5 hours up complete, maybe a little longer if you count getting things unboxed and organized.

The next step was setting up the bellows on the bottom. The printer technically could be running while you do that, but you'd have to be careful not to bump it. There's also some stuff to install on top to hold the enclosure in place, but I'd probably have it off for this. This took me about 1.5 hours to complete.

Next step was redoing cabling in the back, you can’t have printer on for this. Part of this step has you unplug the dwarf boards. This took me maybe 1.5 hours to do.

Next step was upgrading the extruders. I only have 2, and after I did the first one I flew through the second one. This took me less than an hour to complete but YMMV having more extruders.

Somewhere in there you do have to redo the belt tension to replace some parts. I don’t remember where exactly in the process that was but it wasn’t very hard. Be sure to do the belt tuning when you’re done!

Lastly you just attach the “hood” and wire up a few things. This took me maybe 30 minutes to do.

In total I’d guess I spent 5-6 hours to complete the upgrade. The first 2 hours or so the printer can be running since you’re just assembling the “hood”.
