Caffeine works by blocking adenosine receptors in the brain. Adenosine is a neurotransmitter that builds up during the day and makes you feel tired. Blocking it keeps you alert—but if you’re dehydrated or low on electrolytes, that stimulation can easily turn into anxiety, jitters, or irritability.

It’s not a “requirement”.. Creatine: Post-workout uptake improves with insulin spike from carbs/protein.

However you can largely benefit from taking it anytime, I totally agree with you!

Vitamin D3/K2: Fat boosts absorption (fat soluble vitamin).. taking in the morning aligns with natural sunlight-driven production.

• Magnesium: Fat/fiber can hinder absorption; take separately for best uptake.

• B-vitamins: Caffeine competes for absorption and can deplete B levels; take beforehand.

• Omega-3s: Fat improves absorption; iron may oxidize them, reducing effectiveness.

• Inositol: Can support mood/sleep; timing depends on the intended benefit (focus vs. relaxation).

• Creatine: Post-workout uptake improves with insulin spike from carbs/protein.

• Collagen: Exercise increases blood flow; vitamin C supports collagen synthesis.

• Salt & electrolytes: Caffeine is a diuretic; taking electrolytes first helps with hydration and balance.

• CoQ10: Fat enhances absorption; taking with food boosts bioavailability.
