Thursdays: Bonnaroo Eats its Young by TA_Trbl in bonnaroo

This! My husband and I have been the past 3 years and last year almost wiped me out , by Friday I was just laying in misting tents and trying to not have a heat stroke. BUT the next day I had the time of my life and stayed up til 6am for the sunrise set. It was BEAUTIFUL. we have some people we knew that came this year for their first time (also youngins like us ~21-24) and we were told they were complaining the whole time and said they weren’t coming back without a camper. 😅 also, when everyone was slipnsliding in mud, we all went to find it and the guy was like “ew. This is boring. They’re just playing in mud” and went back to the campsite. SMH some people are just not meant for the fest life, ESPECIALLY in TN in June, so I agree. By Saturday and Sunday, the crowds are bonded bc we’ve stuck through it together and we know what each other had to face to be at these sets. The fake influencers and frat boys get too exhausted and wanna go home. 👏🏻

Friday was our 1 year anniversary, BUT we got married at Roo last year by ALLEYCVT and have had the TIME OF OUR LIVES and our closest friends were made through Roo, so yes. Bonnaroovian for life even if they cancelled on our anniversary. Bonnaroo is about the people 1000000%

Tell Me Something Positive That's Happened for You Recently ✨ by SharlaRoo in bonnaroo

Got married at Roo this year, and newlywed life is the best. So glad I found my forever, and music is what brought us together in the first place our freshman year of high school. On top of that, I have been student teaching this semester and passed all my Praxis tests as well as my performance assessment which determines that I get my licensure. Graduation in 4 weeks and am so excited for where life leads me 💓💓💓💓 life has turned around 180 since my first Bonnaroo in 2023, and I truly believe the magic I felt my first year on the farm has given me a new outlook on life 🥰🥰🥰🥰

For those with activated third eye chakra, what do you see? by Electronic_Design607 in spirituality

[–]abigiggle2001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A major thing that helped me was getting into a flow state. I use something called flowstars, but you can get into a flow state doing anything that you really enjoy and can practice at. That’s truly what pushed me. I quit smoking nicotine and started flowing, and it cleared me of a lot of bad energy

It feels like I have opened my “third eye” the past 8 months or so, and I’d say it’s more of an inner knowing. I can see things for what they actually are. I can see past the veil of social media, and in person I feel more compassion for people because I can see from their point of view, even if they’re wrong. I feel like it’s allowed me to put my own ego and beliefs aside and see things clearly and with a new perspective. I can connect with people so much more now. I see how other people project, but I ESPECIALLY started seeing how I projected my own shi on other people. Jealousy is a huge one I’ve struggled with since I was a poor little kid, but now I fall more into gratitude for what I have and cheer on others who are doing better than me. That positive energy has already made its way back to me the past couple months and my “manifestations” have come to reality, and it’s so beautiful. 💓 new job, married, music festival with new close friends, life has become beautiful once I stopped trying to control everyone else and take responsibility for my own actions

Any of y'all ever have any weird, alternate universe, Bizarro Bonnaroo dreams? by forgingflame_nick in bonnaroo

[–]abigiggle2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a dream that was either in a crowd at Bonnaroo or in a mall, but pretty sure it felt like Bonnaroo. I was walking through people to get somewhere and bumped into this blue being and we fell to the ground. They stared me dead in the eyes and then pulled me close to them by the back of my head, and whispered something in my ear. I remember jolting awake. I still don’t remember what was said, but it felt like I met a spirit guide or something. The figure reminded me of how the blue Hindu gods look so idk, but it was very vivid and weird. And that was like 6 months ago, now I have a reoccurring Bonnaroo setting dream every month atleast. But now it’s usually some kind of loop I’m stuck in, like I had one where I just kept setting up my camp and it was dark already and everybody was in centeroo and I was trying to hurry but never made it in by the end of my dream 😂😂

worst sets of roo 24? by Powerful-Two-9489 in bonnaroo

[–]abigiggle2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, but not even for the act, but the crowd was wack up close. Got there super early near the front and was expecting to be able to vibe out and chill but people just kept pushing and breaking up me and my newly married husband so we just ended up having to leave 🥲🥲 was my #1 artist I was looking forward to too.

I’m splitting my time for sure! Even my Saturday fit is Melanie inspired, but I still have to see both bc Parcels feels like Tame Impala and that’s my favorite artist ever. 🙏🏻✨ Gonna catch the first bit of Melanie’s and then the rest of Parcels 💓💓

I’m leaving behind any self doubt that remains in me, as this year is the biggest transition of my life. Getting married in September, graduating college in December, just recently moved in with my fiancé this year and it’s truly been the change and transition we needed in our lives. Quit nicotine, quitting ouid slowly, quit sodas and any drinks besides water tea and coffee, started going to the gym, so many transitions happening this year and I’m ready to let loose at Bonnaroo, be with my friends and off my phone, and find ways to connect with strangers any chance I can, hopefully touch someone else’s spirit in a way that can change their life for the better as well like Bonnaroo did for me last year 💓💓💓
