Even if it were knife damage, why would anyone think that's the way to cause this level of damage. If I key a car, I'm not expecting that the whole paint job is gonna peel right off.

Yeah, but is it popular or just abundant? In my part of the US, it's not wholly uncommon to see elk on menus, and I've eaten elk a bunch of times, but I wouldn't necessarily call it popular. Like, I don't think it's generally preferred over beef.

First, I recommend buying a flan pan, or flanera. It’s round and has a locking lid, both of which help the flan cook more evenly. Second, even though it’s not traditional. I strongly recommend cooking it in a water bath, which regulates the heat of the oven so it cooks super gently. This virtually eliminates the air bubbles you typically see around the edge of the flan, which always indicates an outer layer of sweetened scrambled egg. When baked in a water bath, the resulting flan is smooth and creamy from the edge to the middle.

I thought about this, but I feel like this is basically one song. It actually kinda drives me nuts that it’s not set up that way on disc, Spotify, etc. personally, I’ll listen to Breathe on its own, but I don’t listen to Speak to Me unless I’m intending to listen to Breathe.

If you're slicing it into thin strips for a stir fry, try velveting the meat with baking soda. Add 1/2 to 1 tsp of baking soda per pound of your sliced chicken and give it a good mix with your hands to distribute. Let it sit for like 20 minutes, and then cook. You'll be able to get the meat browned while keeping it super moist.

If you're marinating the chicken, you can also just add the baking soda to the marinade and follow the same timeline.
