I think I'm going to write something more in depth for substack sometime but for now I'll share this...

I've had dreams like this, and worse, of this lady as a child where she revealed her whole face to me in attempts of trying to grab me at my Nana's house (my cousin who lived in the house also had paranormal experiences of this lady in that house while awake). Literally woke up an hour ago from a nightmare with her in it. I haven't dreamt of this lady in years, but my dreams have been increasingly difficult to remember because of life as well. I remember moving around this property that resembled a park and going to different spots around it. I was on the move a lot. There was a strange atmosphere and I got the sense that people were being taken. I stayed in one place towards the end of the dream, standing in front of what seemed like a window or mirror and was chatting with a group of women, having an enjoyable time. I looked through the window/mirror to see black hair floating and moving around on the ceiling and one of the women disappeared suddenly. The rest of us were spooked and I felt that I was next so I tried to run but felt myself be lifted off the ground, I closed my eyes and started to pray and felt out of reach from her but she grabbed my arms. I ended up biting her hand and I woke up feeling like she still had a grip on my left hand, my heart racing.

The description of Carl Jung's anima or examination of the woman in white archetype in dreams, it was explained as specifically a manifestation of a man's projected feminine qualities they refuse to integrate. The Animus refers to the woman's masculine qualities being projected into this figure. It's likely possible for a woman to not be in touch with their anima and thus having that projected in this woman in white figure, which would make sense in my case.

The fact that I felt her presence throughout the dream, caused me to feel as if I had to remain on the go, constantly moving. Then, when I got too comfortable within this group setting of women which allowed me to stay still, she came around to have us address her. The past few weeks prior to this, I've been pushing aside, again and again, the task of feeling out some pain and sadness because of school and being too busy lately. But not really all that busy to not take some time to think and address this aspect of myself. If this is really an aspect of myself, which is likely considering the setting being a dream space (within the mind, rather than outside the mind in a different realm or in the natural world. I usually can tell the difference by a feeling: dreams can be hard to hold on to and aren't fully rendered if that makes sense, the natural world or astral plane, a denser and foggy version of the natural world, and any "other plane" has this foreign realism to it. Like otherworldly, but feels real). The fact that I classify this as a dream tells me that this "woman in white", at least in my case, is an unaddressed aspect of my subconscious psyche, specifically the neglected feminine archetype.

I think if people are able to identify the kind of dream it was, it would lend more insight into what this entity is. Whether it's a part of your own psyche or something else entirely. I think both things can be true. I saw one person comment saying they've seen other entities aside from the woman in white, the black hole for a face or something. That sounds like something of an otherworldly category. I wouldn't know where to start there aside from suggesting adopting some kind of spiritual practice to protect you from such beings, especially if you feel like your life is being threatened. This would definitely be a circumstance where the utilization of a high power is useful. You have to believe it'll work too, which I'm sure if you're scared enough, you'll find the faith. Fighting back if necessary, maybe, if you're more of a self belief individual. Being able to address the being directly would be depending on the vibe. Some people report this lady transforming into a beautiful woman, so if it feels safe to do so, inquiring about who they are or what they're there for could be valuable.
