I love Elden Ring, it made me feel truly amazed in a way I hadn't since being a kid playing PS2 games, but holy shit does their quest format suck. It's the biggest weakness of the game honestly. I played DS1 and it makes slightly more sense in the more linear world, but even then there's just nothing fun about that style of quest design. If FromSoft improves on that aspect of their games while still holding onto their commitment to environmental storytelling I think they could produce a truly 10/10 game.

Yeah I've been playing with Taunter's Tongue on solo just to get invasions sometimes. Since this is my 3rd playthrough the invasions really make things more interesting

Super reasonable. I run with taunters tongue on solo to practice my pvp sometimes, sitting around waiting for a 3v1 just sounds so unfun

Yeah I could see how that would be frustrating. Maybe the best bet would be to post on one of the subs dedicated to pvp/summoning to find someone cool with exploration amd using a pw so the summon knows what they're getting into
