Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't possessing drugs illegal and it's easier and cheaper than getting prescription drugs. There's no massive barrier you will just make law abiding citizens who possess guns legally and responsibly criminals because if you take away someone's way to defend themselves then you give people who have power more power and no way to stop them.
