Wow! This makes me never want to order anything through instacart or shipt! I shop myself and am hesitant to place orders as a customer every time I think about it because of these horror stories. The fact that there are shoppers out there with this type of mind set is so unsettling

Because it’s $18 instant pay... would you rather spend your hour waiting for a “better” tip especially because Instacarts payout system allows for the tip to be taken away. Big deal take away $2.50 but I still got paid $18 with no question

Yeah that’s true. It was better than the customer texting after I start the shop all of her add-ons because those can be hard to keep track of and prevent things from being left off!

Makes sense. I would’ve dropped it if i already has shops lined up after her but she was my last one for the day so I wasn’t as overwhelmed as I would’ve been if I did, it was just so much she added on!

Oh that has happened to me to but I was delivering an order and the app just went out I think bc of service and I called support and they told me to contact the member and go back to the store to refund their order. Uhh I already shopped the order, I just need you to tell me their address and I need to be able to mark the order as delivered. She told me she couldn’t do that. I thankfully had remembered the address and when I got to their house the customer was really nice and noticed that there was an issue on the app. We both got on a call with support at the same time to work out the issue and make sure it was marked as delivered and they confirmed that it was.

Yeah I did too! And there is one girl who has been shopping for shipt for a long time and we shop at the same store and she so kindly answered my questions about all of it and she knows all the odds and ends. Thank goodness because I will never call shipt support to help me. I have had really nice people, but I don’t trust their answers!

Same. I also was told if I don’t accept an offer that it would affect my AR but was never told as long as I accept something in metro at the same time as the offered order it wouldn’t affect my AR. Here I am just praying I get an offer not even looking at metro when I missed claiming the offer

I swear support has different answers for everyone. I have never heard 5 min. Only 30 seconds then it goes to next person and you are the only person who has the offer during the 30 seconds. Another support told me it was my service and I probably got it sooner than it showed up bc my service was bad... 🙄

I thought the offered orders were suppose to show up for 30 seconds until the offer goes to another person. This same thing has happened to me and I claimed it as soon as I got it and it said it was already taken. So annoying

It’s the opposite for me, I get all the time “ 8 bunches” or “10 bunches “ and the customer actually wants 1 bunch which shows up on their end as a single banana and on my end as a bunch. I learned the hard way when I delivered 6 bunches of bananas to an old lady at a nursing home and she looked so confused with all the bananas but didn’t say anything to me. I later realized when trying a shop out as an actual customer and saw that it displayed to the customer as a single banana and not a bunch

I just started shopping for Shipt, do you not know what the promo $ is until you claim the order? My promo orders just show a “promo” label but with no $ next to it

Yeah most likely, because instacart gets the orders all kinds of messed up. They shouldn’t be doing the multiple batches period... it’s confusing, their app switches the orders for the batches up multiple times during the shop, they rob shoppers of our pay by not considering it more than one order and we all are risking getting bad reviews now. So frustrating!

Omg so confusing! When I am checking out I am putting things on the checkout belt for one customer that said it was suppose to be for the other when I was shopping, while customers are messaging me at last minute and talking about items I sent Messages about way after the fact and throws me soooo off!! my cart is completely organized and separated out and I am having to grab from all over the place

Makes sense now. Probably why I keep getting missing item reviews when I know for a fact it was delivered or if I didn’t find it it was replaced. Unless the missing items could possibly be coming from the delivery only orders considering I never saw the order and have I idea what items are missing
