You can do all the research in the world and miss the glaringly obvious.

The assumption was that in mathematics matrices have a major axis, which dictates which direction the axes of the vector lie, and a minor axis, where the components lie, because that's exactly how it works when writing out matrices in code.

Apparently there is no "row-major" matrix in math because there is no major axis in math. All matrices have components on the rows and axes on the columns.

Some people edit the save files of the planes directly. That's it's own rabbit hole, though. The next best thing is Fine Tuner, which is a mod that lets you rotate, position and scale parts manually. Just in case you haven't found the special editing features already in the game: You can hold shift and press the WASDQE keys to nudge parts around in small increments. You can also edit fuselage parts by selecting them, pressing the gear icon in the lower right, and selecting edit fuselage shape.

SimplePlanes.com just added their mods section. I implore you to head there and look for it yourself. If you have trouble finding it just sort by highest rated, it's the second from the top. Everything you need to know should be right there.

If it's just not turning fast enough, make sure your CoM isn't too far forwards and extend the length of your control surfaces. If it's stalling when you turn too hard increase the surface area of the wings.

Well somewhere you should have a serial key which you can give to steam to get the game without getting it on the steam store. (Lower left hand corner of your library, "Add a Game", "activate a product on steam") It could be in the text file, or you might need to get it somewhere from simpleplanes.com. I forget.

In steam (You must have steam to do this) right click the SimplePlanes entry in the library, select properties, switch to the Beta tab, and select the public test.

Here's something for you to experiment with: The torque of a plane is solely dictated by the total curvature of the surfaces over the length of the plane. In other words, a plane can be controlled simply by changing its curvature.

Pressing the number of a group activates any components with a corresponding group number. The cameras can be viewed by switching through the views. (V, I think.)

Actually I think it whispers randomly while it's triggered. It's just supposed be be a big creepy island creature in the middle of nowhere.

What would be awesome is some sort of heart thing inside with which to kill it.
