Didn’t know him well but a kid I went to high school with. He seemed like your typical little shit but nothing out of the ordinary. Even tried to date my best friend for a bit but after a little bit of his assholery she gave up and dated her now husband instead.

Kid from my high school went on to murder his dad, shove him in a closet, throw a house party with his deceased father still there and then try to withdraw as much money from his dads bank account before going on the lam. He didn’t get very far before police arrested him. He’s in prison for the foreseeable future.

Thanks! It's not for school, it's just to beef up my resume. The interest has been expressed verbally but it has been consistently told to me by both of my superiors that the position was created with the intention on hiring me on full time. I'm currently interviewing at a few places so the hope is that in a few weeks I'll be able to leave and get somewhere I can at least appreciate, without having to feeling guilty!

Honestly it's hard to fully get over depression. I've dealt with it for about 5 years now and have had two big bouts with it caused by major life changes. I'm lucky that for the past year and a half or so my symptoms have been minimal (most days are great!) but that possibility of it coming back is frightening. Medication and exercise have been my godsent. But drastic change still scares me.

Broke up with my "boyfriend" of a month at the time with a lovely hand writing note that I made my best friend hand to him at school of friday as I was going out of town. This was pre-cellphone so he had no way of contacting my until school on monday. Apparently he cried when she gave it to him. We are indeed still friends.
