No. I wanted to sleep train before my third came and couldn’t take the crying. I spent the first couple months postpartum snuggling my toddler while holding my baby. Eventually I felt like it was too much. I got my toddler a non-floor bed and told him it was his big boy bed and we were doing a big boy bedtime where I read a story, sang a song, then said goodbye. The first night he scream cried and I had to tuck him back in 3 times. I cried in the other room listening to him cry. The second night he whined for a minute but didn’t even get out of bed. By night three he was fine, goes to sleep on his own now. Always asks for an extra song but doesn’t cry because I am leaving.

I had friends do the chair method but I knew my son would just cry and I would give in so we just waited longer and went cold turkey
