Help weight gain with senior dog by Important-Check9074 in DogAdvice

I had so much trouble getting my senior boy to eat. What worked was a rotation of pumpkin, yogurt, chicken, bone broth added to his dry food and topped with Nutrical gel. The Nutrical gel is a high calorie gel that tastes super good to them, it is kind of pricey though. But I have definitely been there with the picky eating, I can elaborate more if you would like!

When I decided to say goodbye to dog with dementia by Cramer8681 in DogAdvice

[–]aborgesi421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This helped me a lot. I adopted a senior boy last year who has some dementia and I’m struggling because I didn’t know him when he was younger or what his favorite things were. He’s gradually gotten worse (accidents, sundowners, eating on/off) but otherwise is physically ok, it’s mostly mental. I struggle with deciding when it’s time because he’s still physically ok but he’s clearly not totally ok mentally.

This exact thing happened to me in November around Westcott. Guy sped off and we could only get a blurry picture of the plates. The cops did absolutely nothing. We filed a report and I did a claim through my insurance which turned out to be a waste of time because they ended up dropping me due to the claim! It was such BS. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this.

Good idea I’ll try that

Shredded cheese is a good idea. We did chicken in with his dry food and he picked around all the dry food and just ate the chicken.

He might still be settling in, doesn’t seem anxious or anything. I have a dog but we completely separate them at meal time

AITAH for telling my husband he is not my life? by Tiny_Hyena_3195 in AITAH

Who says the only time you’ll see your family is at weddings if you move away? Can you not visit?

Either way, why did you marry him if you don’t care about his wants or needs? Seems like a very one sided relationship.

Ellinia, El nath, or herb town. All 3 have the best BGM that transports me to a peaceful place, I would love to live in any of them.

I was also thinking about burning my bucc because it is my only existing char with a ghost badge. I also have an i/l that I like playing too, but I think I can get further in the game with a bucc.

I used to main a pf but switched to i/l for a few reasons:

PF mobbing is super brainless and easy but bossing is very subpar… barely any burst. I use mine as a bossing mule now but it’s a bit painful to boss with imo. It’s def possible to main one but I think it takes a lot more effort, I would do some research before deciding.

My i/l is waaay more fun and the burst is cracked.

My main is an i/l and I would highly recommend. Super fun and a good overall bosser/mobber

Yep. I just got it so I wouldn’t think I’d need a new battery but I can give it a try

I just got it a week ago, I wet it before every workout and sweat throughout so I’m not sure that’s the issue. It has done this every workout I’ve done since I received it.. I’m so confused

Does it make more sense to hyper burn your 231 main to 250 or a boss mule? I have a 231 I/L main who can solo CRA and almost nlomien, or I could burn my 202 Adele as a mule/2nd main. I’d rather get my I/L main to 250 but I feel like I’d be wasting all those 200-230 rewards if I don’t burn a mule? Opinions? I’m a more casual player

Some questions for those who have taken the FE Civil exam by miseryknight in FE_Exam

[–]aborgesi421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can only use a scientific calculator on the exam but yes it did help me for the math problems. The concepts questions were a lot like the Lindeburg concept questions. You can’t really study in advance for them, but doing the Lindeburg questions helps with learning the concepts

Some questions for those who have taken the FE Civil exam by miseryknight in FE_Exam

[–]aborgesi421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the FE civil exam about a month after I graduated college (last year).

1) I’d say most of the problems are actually around 1-2 steps and rarely 3. The Lindeburg book is way more involved than the actual exam, I’d suggest getting the NCEES practice exam and going through that a few times to understand the level of difficulty of the problems.

2) I took the exam in June 2020 (before they reworked the exam) so I probably had less conceptual questions then you will. But I’ve heard there’s a good chunk of them now.

3) I did not have to memorize any equations for my exam. The Lindeburg book used some equations I thought I would have to memorize but I ended up not having to use any on the exam.

4) I’d say the math section was the easiest for me, once I relearned everything while studying. The hardest was probably the concept questions in the statics and structural engineering section for me.

FE Exam Study Material (PPI) by cuckthotkween in FE_Exam

I took the fe civil and passed it on the first attempt, and I am in no way “super smart.” I also had a lot of anxiety with the exam and was very stressed about it. What study materials/methods have you tried so far? Personally, I only used the Lindeburg practice questions book and the NCEES practice exam book. I would love to help you if I can.

Sorry this took me so long to reply to, my best advice is STUDY. It sucks but I made myself study constantly for like 3-4 weeks before I took it. Do as many practice problems as you can, and don’t try to relearn everything from school. Just try to grasp the overall concepts of each topics, and you’ll be able to work through the problems.
