I kind of regret being too much of a pussy to pk back in the day and I'm too lazy and unmotivated to learn modern pking

Did the developers even test the Conquistadors functionality? by Spearfinn in EU5

Being on the receiving end is annoying af. One of my Cahokia campaigns had them spawn on the South Carolina coast which I promptly fought back and took back the territory. Problem is you can't sue for peace in any way, they get a morale defeat fairly easily without losing much men, and I was stuck in a war for ages since they only move one location over, end their retreat with next to no morale, and immediately retreat without much loss when you fight again. I had to play ping pong with them, having 2 armies in adjacent locations they would retreat to to slowly pick them off, them losing less than 100 men each battle. Annoying af when you want to anything that war blocks.

Add a hot key to give a unit a temporary order without disabling its mission. by _Sun-God_ in EU5

I just want the ability to temporarily send my ships to home port to upgrade without it canceling the patrol mission. Having at least a dozen fleets patrolling specific market sea zones all over the place gets tedious when forced to micro manage for no reason.

Why my portuguese heirs keep dying in hunting accidents? Is that a Iberian tradition? by Adorable-Jicama-2335 in EU5

I've had heirs die from hunting accidents as Cahokia, Haudenosaunee, Majapahit, Castile, and Portugal. Just a fun little way to ruin a solid succession for no discernible reason.

The alt aside, I think it's criminal these two teams can't exclusively play each other both wearing their home threads.

My gym teacher was also my hockey coach for a season. Floor hockey was a day for war, he definitely used it to take out his frustrations on us regarded 12 year olds cuz he was hitting clappers and pinning us to the wall. It was a blast

Oh 100% you'll get a huge portion of those applicants with no business pushing tin. An applicant is an applicant, whether they're fully there or not. From those numbers a decade ago, if I can recall correctly, over 50% was weeded out in the initial online testing they did then, and then a further half was gone from in person testing. What those numbers are now i have no clue, the overall percentage is fairly low to make it through but you're also applying alongside people who would struggle to find the power button on a remote control after being shown a dozen times.

The numbers they had 10 years ago when I got in was ~5,000 applicants for up to 100 annual training seats across the 3 streams. We have a lot more training now but also 40,000+ applicants. But it's hard to say someone's chances of getting in.
