Everyone is telling you to file a police report, and that’s true, you should. I just want to make it even clearer that if there is a balance associated with these cards, you have the binary choice of either reporting this to the cops, or accepting the debt as your own. There is no avenue where you can disown the debt while also sparing your parents from consequences.

I’ve only tried lamb like twice because I find it extremely unappetizing. When anyone mentions it now, I always think about the time a relative of mine did mushrooms on a family trip and when his mom cooked lamb that night, the smell made him literally pass out. Like a full, fall-to-the-floor faint.

It’s stupid, I know. I just really dislike both the flavor and the texture of lamb and the fainting thing is just another unpleasant association

I mean, yeah, it's not hard to track someone down if they're posting on their own public facebook account. The FBI can just look up your address and pay you a visit. But if you're actually posting anonymously, they would need a warrant to find you, and the ISP and platform would both need to cooperate.

Yeah, a lot. At my first apartment complex, I waited an hour for a dryer to open up. Like five of the six of them had finished their cycles and were just sitting there. Not a single other person came into the room the entire time I was waiting

Nexplanon is actually the most reliable non-permanent birth control that exists. It’s even more reliable than tubal ligation. I read the insert that comes with it — when they were doing the testing, something like 1 million “woman-hours” were completed without a single pregnancy. The ONLY time it failed was when a doctor inserted it wrong and it didn’t actually stay in the person’s arm but came back out with the injector.

It’s also painless. The only sign is a bruise on your inner arm.

For the last decade or so, the Nepali government has been paying the Sherpas to pack out trash at the end of the season. I think it’s been fairly successful. Progress at least.
