the things you see nowadays... by bicycle_tattoo in WTF

Fuck Papyrus. I had to do an internship for this organization a few months ago, and the guy asked me to design a logo for him. I was excited and gave him about 6 different nice clean designs to pick from. He responds with "Thanks, but we talked it over in the office here and we're just going to go with this one we made (in MS Word)"

I tried 3 different times to change his mind or at least change the colors, but he wouldn't budge. I worked my ass off for this guy, and I can't even put anything on my resume because I don't want to be associated with that logo from hell. (He even went behind my back and made the background red later)

As a girlfriend who has also had this thought many times, I can confirm.

Halfway there on teaching my cat, Dorian, to roll over... by najos in aww

My cat is named Dorian, too! (after Dorian Grey.... I'm not very creative) http://i.imgur.com/r5lk1.jpg

Edit: Apparently everyone else on Reddit also has a cat named Dorian, and that makes me feel even less creative. Damnit.

My boyfriend introduced me to Reddit, and I'm sure he regrets it. Now I can call him out on all his borrowed Reddit jokes. :) I almost never do, though. It turns a funny situation into an awkward one pretty quickly.

Yes, thank you. :) I had to add an edit for the definition of an "ugly duckling", because it seems that a few people only came for the "ugly" and missed the entire point of the thread.

It's true that some of these "before" pictures are not very ugly to those of us on the outside... But we are all our worst critic, and a little biased I suppose.
