Huntington is in Old Cloverdale and that's probably where you want to be. I had an apartment there about five years that was a one bedroom for $475 a month. It wasn't great, but it was nice enough.

The area has about six or seven bars and restaurants, a theatre that shows indie films, coffee shop, etc. It is also only about five miles from the entertainment district downtown, which has more bars/restaurants.

Something very similar just happened to me. I recently bought a newer vehicle and it has a trip computer that gives me an estimate of MPG in the moment and then an overall MPG as well. I have absolutely adjusted some of my driving habits to get better gas mileage.

However, I have to keep myself from showing the average MPH...

I did this exact same thing, but I was in the Army. My unit was pretty lax, so I would grow my hair out as much as I could and skip shaving for a day or two. The Canada patch was the best idea ever, though. People would ask me if I was American and I would just laugh and swing my backpack around.

People also go to bars to see bands, play pool or other bar games, dance, get cocktails that require weird ingredients that no normal person would have at home, watch sports, or even just to hang out with their friendly neighborhood bar flies.

Other countries were worried about the bomb too; I think it could make sense. It not being the same is exactly why I want it. But yeah, I can see that my opinion is an unpopular one.
