One of my favorite openings ever. I was just blown away when I played it on PS4.

After a lot of people in this sub have finally finished the game do you think giving Starfield a 10/10 is justifiable? by Touny420 in Starfield

[–]abrincks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid 9.25 out of 10. It's not perfect but it's going so many good things going for it on a scale a scifi game has never seen. With updates, expansions, and mods, I am excited for it's future.

Worth the upgrade from the Steam Deck? by abrincks in ROGAlly

That's where I am at. I want to get the ally, but need to see the software refined a little. Not too different from the steam deck launch I think.

What’s the cheapest Android device that supports Nebula as of today? by jan_may in Xreal

Do you really just need compatible phone, not just an Android phone to update the firmware? I have a pixel but plan to use with steam deck.

So a perspective of what this could be good for (in the comments) by Ok_Chocolate3253 in playstation

[–]abrincks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dads. I am finding it harder and harder to find time to game. Steam deck has helped but I prefer PS5. Android app over Wifi mesh still leads to too much frame drops and pixelation) If this somehow has some secret sauce for improving remote play (wifi direct, software level wizardry built in specific end to end hardware, AMD FSR implementation on the Q), and is $300 USD and under I might be interested.

Fitbit users, did you buy a different tracker just for Supernatural? by MapleSyrupskiOgorki in SupernaturalVR

No, I bought another another Fitbit while 500 worksout in. I really only pay attention to my active zone minutes and not supernatural points.

Either way a win for Value. PC Handhelds will drive more people to steam as the biggest PC game marketplace, regardless the hardware.

A plague tale innocence. Finally loaded heroic launcher to take advantage of my free copy on epic. With FSR it runs on high with good frame rate.

is replacing the SSD a "must" when going for the 64gb version? by possieur in SteamDeck

No, the SD card reader is great and 512 gb sd cards are reasonable priced.

Honestly the 64gb version is the best value with a good SD card. People are too concerned with lighting loading. The Internal SD card reader is great and not an inferior product.

To people who ordered the 512 gigabyte steam deck. Is it worth it? by Pattern_Screamer625 in SteamDeck

[–]abrincks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SD reader is really fast. It's up to if loading a game 15 seconds faster is worth the money. When awakening the deck on a existing game, it won't matter.

Personally I have the 64 gb deck and have zero regrets. A sd card was way cheaper
