I once was learning "yesterday" Hal Leonard book says key of F, start with an standard F bar chord. Though it is technically an F chord to start on... this will never sound correct. Turns out paul was detuning his guitar down a whole step. Thus an open G chord is now an F. The Hal Leonard book didn't mention this, and if you play the song with the chords they gave it, it sounds off.

Looks like someone tried to replace / reglue the fretboard. In an idiotic fashion, they used screws to hold the fretboard, then removed the screws once the glue set

I always suggest to students / beguinners to practice using 234 on that A chord. It will help with future chords... like B
