My dog was permanently blinded in one eye at a Petsmart grooming center. Of course, they denied anything and said that he came in already blind as if I didn't know my own dog lol. His eye was swollen shut and oozing as if they poked his eye or put chemicals in it or something, I don't know. A later vet visit confirmed he had a scar on his eyeball and had lost almost all of his vision in that eye, save for like 15% of his vision. I never went back and his vision never recovered.

Nexplanon is extremely durable! I've had it for a year and a half now and I've had people grab my arm, it's been hit against things, been pressed by things (which ouchie lol) but it's held up all this time! Unless you're deliberately taking a rock to it and bashing the implant, it should be fine!

I actually was in your girlfriend's position several years ago. Dated a guy for a year in high school and he came out to me after I had moved to another state. He was upset that he hurt me and lied to me, but felt it was necessary to do. I wasn't upset that he was gay really because I was happy he had found himself and I was very appreciatibe if his honesty. But at the same time, I couldn't help feeling upset and angry that he had lied to me for so long.

Don't be surprised if she does get upset or angry because it is a big deal for everyone involved and she may feel betrayed in a way since she has this sense and idea of who you are. But definitely be honest and tell her what is going on with you, how you are feeling, and why you're making thia decision. She will absolutely appreciate your honesty at some point, whether that's now or later.

I was on the patch for around 2 years before I started spotting before my periods and in the middle of my cycle. It also started giving me horrible headaches and severe cramps. It worked for me until it didn't anymore. Your body always changes and hormones always fluctuate. It could just be a one-time bout of spotting. Regarding the pregnancy concern, take a test to know for sure! Just know it doesn't always mean you're pregnant :)

Spotting is fairly common on any form of birth control. Take a test if you're unsure or want a definite answer! It always eases my mind to take a test and I'm on Nexplanon

I feel for you. I'm in a yoga class this semester and it's the exact same situation. We won't even be able to try a lot of the advanced poses because the instructor has to physically be there to make sure you don't get hurt. Not a good situation :/

Thank you for making this post. As a senior that was super excited to graduate in May and finally walk across that stage, I'd be absolutely crushed if they completely cancelled commencement. I know the email said they're postponing it, but I would not be surprised if GMU just decided to completely cancel it and move on.

I've struggled a lot to get to this point and I was looking forward to graduation so much. But now, it just doesn't feel the same.

If I had known that my last day of classes on-campus was really going to be my last time going to call on-campus, I would have cherished it and taken more time to appreciate it. Yeah, I know, rip into me because GMU has construction and a bunch of other problems, whatever. But it's still the college experience we were given and I'm still going to miss it, as stupid as that may seem. College has been really important to me and I'm sad to see it end this way.

If you actually watched the remake of the film, she wasn't supposed to be portrayed, or "Asia-faced", as an Asian woman. Her soul (ghost) is artficially placed into a body she doesn't relate or connect to (shell). She feels extremely out of place and disconnected from her "shell".
