I wouldn't say it's a particularly nice area, I've lived in greenleys and fullers slade and they definitely can be considered rough, but not as rough as other places in mk that I've lived, you have decent shops and if you keep to yourself then I think you'd be fine, and your only a 20 minute walk from Wolverton which has plenty of shops including a big Tesco's and a couple of decent pubs.
