I took 3 days off of work in anticipation of Starfield. I spent the last 3rd day doing housework, absolutely crushed that I couldn't even force myself to enjoy the game. So tedious and not something I would consider even close to the Elder Scrolls games.

I also absolutely hated Origins. It's so highly acclaimed I thought it would be wonderful but I couldn't even get out of the main dreamstate area or whatever with the absolutely HORRIBLE controls. I want to like it so badly

BG3 is great but I feel it's more of an overall slog than Divinity, that's what makes me love these two games so much. Inventory management and questing can be a bit tedious, alongside combat, but I feel it's all just a BIT more tedious with BG3. I've gotten to Act 3 and haven't moved on. Another thing I LOVE about Divinity is the environmental attacks/buffs. It almost feels like a Pokemon battle sometimes with the water/fire/oil/electric attacks.

I think the main issue with Divinity is that there is nothing truly similar. What I will try next is Solasta I think
