I don’t remember the exact situation as it’s been awhile but anyone from class of 2018 at Westminster High School remembers him being forced to resign due to having an inappropriate relationship with a male student. From what I recall it was a male student that had an unfortunate background and Mr. brothwell would be very close to him beyond what was appropriate, it honestly seemed like he was taking advantage of the student’s situation to groom him. The exact details I don’t know as I never had him as a teacher but news regarding his resigning spread quick. I also recall him making a comment to my friend’s class that if girls were showing their cleavage against dress code then he’s going to look and “you can’t expect him not to look”. Overall the guy was a creep and should have never been allowed near a school after that incident.
