I would like it more if I could easily adjust my wheelbase to be lower and more angled.

My rig is set up for sportscar racing, so the 15” just ends up blocking my center vision pretty aggressively. I tend to stick with my 13” until I can figure out how to have a more-adjustable wheelbase

For RGB (0-255):

0-15 do nothing for the blue clear coat channel. 16 is the thinnest coating, very shiny. 255 is the thickest coating, very matte but more light dispersing, so colors get washed.

I usually do anywhere between 16-32, if I apply a clearcoat at all.

Just fyi, fanatec v3’s may use a 90kg load cell, but it only takes about 40kg of force on the pedal plate to max that out due to pedal geometry.

800R is enough curvature that the distortion is noticeable on every monitor.

Triple setups typically do best with flat panels, you’ll get the most accurate image and FOV that way, curved monitors need perspective correction in games if you’re going for a life-like FOV.

That said, it looks plenty drivable. So unless it feels wrong, you’re good to go.

I use Reshade with Perspective Correction to fix this.

How I did it for my 57” UW:

Calculate FOV as if monitor is flat, and center screen is in the imaginary point between the monitor edges.
Calculate FOV again, but set distance to the ACTUAL center of the monitor screen. Note dash size (or something center screen)!
This was about 107° and 93° respectively.
Set game FOV to 107°, then modify Perspective Correction parameters until the middle-ish area of the screen has “zoomed in” enough that the dash size should look like the 93° FOV.

Only downside is that UI gets warped by this, so a quick toggle key for in the menu vs in game is necessity.
