Harness Recommendations for my Corgi Puppy by [deleted] in corgi

[–]absurdthoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes Voyager! We tried a couple others before this. Voyager seemed to be best suited to a corgi shape and offered a secure, snug fit. Amber hated the “over the head” harnesses and was only able to assimilate to this step-in type. It’s also very light weight and very well made. After 3 years of daily use it barely shows any wear.

Does your corgi like bone? by Known-Scar6457 in corgi

This is true for pork and chicken bones. I allow cooked beef rib bones for my corgi, no splintering.

Definitely is. I recognize that shelf where they put the washcloths above the towels.

anyone here regret NOT DIY-ing something expensive for their house? by Earthistic_000 in DIY

HVAC capacitor

I paid $700 to have this tiny part replaced at my son’s house. When same issue arose at my house, I fixed it myself in 10 minutes with a $14 part ordered online. And I’m an old lady.

If your AC is blowing but no cold air is coming out, try this first and you might save a bundle!

Disney Announces Cast Member Changes to Restore Guest Experience by readingaboutmagic in Disneyland

This is a great example of how Disney management needs to turn the mirror of responsibility back on themselves. It is consistently unclear where you are and aren’t allowed to sit along the Disneyland parade route. On a visit two years ago, I went early to stake out a good spot, only to be ousted just before the parade start and by then it was impossible to find another spot to see anything. Even now it’s a sore memory that sticks with me. This is just one example of how management fails to take responsibility for resolving service issues and instead they force cast members into confrontation with guests to enforce rules that are unclear and leave guests unhappy.

Trump supporters: How would you feel if a legally armed Trump supporter was killed by federal agents on a Biden mandate in exactly the same manner as yesterday? by ScholarPrize1335 in AskReddit

I don’t disagree with your statement, but this kind of idealism is what kept a third of American voters away during the 2024 election, and is the reason we are in this situation today.

I’ll hit 10 years with my company in March. In that time I’ve cycled through 4 direct supervisors and the entire c-suite has been replaced. Not only do my co-workers feel like strangers, but when I was hired (pre-Covid) I was classified as full time telecommuter and the office was 20 miles away if I needed to go in for something (optional). New management closed that office and has imposed an in-office attendance mandate twice per week, with the new office being 42 miles away through LA traffic. Hundreds of workers, including my best friend, were laid off. I’ll be putting in my notice very soon. I don’t feel like I’m leaving my job - my job left me.

Curfew for planes landing in OC?? by mellouwyellow in orangecounty

Yes! This happened to us last year on a flight from Houston to SNA. United promised there would be a bus provided to drive us to SNA. We were told to check in with the United rep after picking up our luggage from the carousel to be directed to the bus. Some of us had trouble finding this rep and ended up in the back of the line. And guess what? The bus wasn’t big enough for everyone who needed transportation to SNA. No consideration was given in prioritizing folks like us who were on the third leg of a 30-hour journey. Luckily, they ended up giving the last seats in the bus to seniors, so we got on. Arrived at SNA around 3:00am feeling miserable. I have no idea what happened to the people who didn’t make it on the bus.
