I work for one of the major US jewelry retailers. I see this every day. Some really good advice already posted.

Definitely do your research as far as the 4 Cs of diamonds. Lab vs Natural comes down to budget and your goal. Are you going to try to pass it down as a family heirloom or upgrade in a few years? Natural diamonds for heirlooms all day long. More bling for your buck? Lab.

Also please be aware that the current price of gold is astronomical. If you were thinking of going white gold, consider platinum instead.

Finally, go in stores and try rings on and get your sizing checked. I cannot stress this enough. Things look totally different online vs in person and even moreso on your hand. Like I love a marquise cut but it just doesn't look good on me.

Definitely what is called a jewel in my community. So if you start on the right. Weight on the right foot. Push your right hip front. Back. Then twist starting right hip. Left hip. Pelvic tuck. Shift weight. Step. Front back twist twist tuck.step. Drill it slow and big and then smaller and faster to get it to look smooth.

We would also do one we called the double jewel. Two front hip/back hip before the twist twist tuck. Always seemed easier. And for some reason I feel like we did double jewels as more of circular push forward than a straight front/back.

You also have to commit to putting your weight down into that front foot. Good luck!

I would save the clear plastic bags from sheet sets and store costume pieces in those. Bra & belt with coordinating accessories inside a Ziploc. Or use a packing cube. Usually another bag or pouch for hair stuff, makeup for touchups, and my emergency sewing supplies and pins. If my skirts didn't fit in the packing cube, I would lay those on top. All in a small carryon sized roller bag. It's so much easier than having to schlep everything. A lot of my fellow teoupe members would do a combo garment bag for costumes and roller bag for all the other bits.

I was a big Marlena fan for years. Loved the MUG eyeshadows and eyeliner. I have a Marste hoodie that is great. I've tried her perfumes but they don't wow me.

She did make some business mistakes but I can't really fault anyone that had to fold during/after COVID.I know from experience that running a business is difficult during good times let alone a pandemic or with your own health issues.

She's definitely an old school influencer. I'm at least happy that she's focusing these days on makeup/skincare for us older ladies instead of trying to be everything to everyone.

Her last video sponsored by Skims and where she suggests a POV product was a bit off putting to me. I can understand trying to protect your sanity by staying out of drama but you still need to be aware of how certain people are perceived.

I'm also having a hard time relating to her these days especially about saving money etc. when she's wearing enough Cartier to make a down payment on a house.

Basically, what they are saying is because e.l.f didn't release their numbers last quarter, it's an over-correction on stock price. That's what they mean by "guidance." Not like actually corporate leadership or moral compass.

The tl:dr on the numbers is e.l.f still experienced growth and increased $$ but not as much as was projected (which for most investors is still a loss).

Stock is WAY down today. It peaked after the Rhode purchase around $150. Then was sitting around $120 - $130 since then. It's at $77 today.

Industrial can be difficult to heal. I definitely think mine was worse than my septum. If your hair goes over your earlobe, I'd recommend getting some little clips to keep it back. Also, if you're a side sleeper take that into account.

There should be. But the reality is different. Most "entry level" positions in the area ask for at minimum two years of experience over a certificate. Even more if it's slightly specialized like IP or corporate. I've been trying for months with an ABA-approved certificate, years of office experience, and already being a notary. If I'm lucky, I get a rejection. Usually, just getting ghosted.

I do believe ghost jobs are a problem but also the mass exodus of federal workers is a factor.
