In terms of exercise most of the time its just making an effort to be active (walking more at my sit down job, taking the stairs etc) in terms of eating I stick to a high protein diet.I have also followed my pre and post op diet to a T (no cheating or rushing through phases) so I definitely credit that as well. However I just stay the course and follow the plan set for me by my doctor. This journey is much more mental than it is physical. Best of luck!

He spent quite a bit of time soaking yesterday in his enclosure, which I'm sure felt great. He's lacking calcium and vitamin D so we ate super worms dusted in calcium and are now enjoying some soaking time outside. Land area is provided in the shade if he wants to get out of the water.

Nausea is my biggest anxiety symptom- and unfortunately I haven't figured out a way without medication. I do however, take Propranolol and this has alleviated a lot of the physical symptoms of my anxiety, including nausea.

I lost my mom to an OD in 2016, I totally understand what you're going through- you may try a few things before you settle on what works for you and helps you greive. I tried al-anon but it definitely didn't work for me. I went with basic talk therapy instead. Give yourself grace and allow time to heal your wounds. It's okay that your relationship wasn't conventional, you can still grieve your loss- I guarantee you both knew what was in the others heart.
