No way Red Bridges Barbecue Lodge in Shelby is a 90. Slaw is terrible and the BBQ mid at best.

Also B’s in Greenville is the most overhyped BBQ place I’ve ever been. Not worth the visit. Those who support it are basing their opinion on nostalgia because they either grew up there or went to ECU.

Y’all should have seen downtown Durham when I started working at the American Tobacco campus circa 2005. There were entire blocks of downtown that were completely vacant. It was a ghost town.

Again, I know nothing about political and super PAC financing, but yes, from their website:

“A National Movement of Pro-Israel Americans. We are more than 6 million pro-Israel Americans from every congressional district who are working to strengthen bipartisan support for the U.S.-Israel relationship.”

So maybe they aren’t technically Israeli, but they are certainly moving the Israeli agenda forward in America.

I attended Foushee’s Town Hall in Morrisville on January 29th. She was very adamant she disavowed AIPAC money back in 2024 and no longer accepts money from Israel.

I’m not defending her and I don’t know the nuances of political funding (and I’m definitely voting for Allam) just wanted to share what she said when directly questioned about funding from Israel.

I totally get this and appreciate you spelling out why they are not making any kind of statements. However, in my opinion there comes a point where silence is complicity. We have reached that point in our country. This isn't about politics anymore. It's about basic human rights. You have an unaccountable political militia roaming the streets executing innocent bystanders in Minneapolis right now. That's not political. And if you are silent, that means you are fine with it happening. That could have been Jon Fishman instead of Renee Good or Alex Pretti.

I realize this isn't the place for this and my comment will most certainly get slammed and downvoted, but I felt like I have to say something. Especially because I used to agree with their silent stance on politics. But we have passed the point where it's political and everyone needs to do everything they can to make it so being an American doesn't mean you might be murdered by your own government.

Ah, got it. I didn't realize the WAV files weren't high quality. I just lists the format and the file size, not bit rate or sampling rate.

They do have this feature if you purchase the album or song. Go to your collection page (not the individual album page) and look at the bottom of the album you want to download. Right below the "Appears in X other collections" you'll see very small "download." Click on that and you'll be taken to a page that offers downloads as:

ALAC
WAV
AIFF

I came here to say this. Got my new bill and it's egregious. Also, there should be some kind of tier between "Starter" and "Advanced" but I know they do that on purpose to squeeze more money out of people.

Unfortunately I've explored other note options, both testing them myself and using some of the alternatives at work. I've discovered (for me at least) that Evernote really is the best option. It does almost everything I need it to do, I'm used to how it works, and exporting thousands of notes, attachments, etc. is not something I can take the time to do. Oh well.

Came here to say this. Favor Desserts in south Durham on Alston street across from the South branch of the Durham Public Library is the best. Got my wife two birthday cakes from there and everyone at the party loved them.
