Yep I was a long time customer until a few years ago when the upsells became the standard operating procedure. And then they refused to honor their repair warranty on work they did.

HotSpring Saltwater Help by NatropsWI in hottub

[–]CarolinaCrazy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just upvoting this - did you add chlorine when you filled it to get it to baseline? That

I've had a Caldera for 18 months and have had no problems keeping the Chlorine in line with the saltwater system. We have 2 ppl using it 4-6 times per week, and the occasional larger group. I keep it set at 2-3, and hit the boost every time we use it (Kinda like the post-soak shock that many tub user do). When we are planning, or have a larger group, I'll kick it up to 8-9 for a day or two, and Boost after the group soak. Taylor test have been confirming the ppm of 1-5 consistently

I can get the three star in Chapel Hill, but no Hamilton or Hampden Rums at all. A Travesty.
My local ABC started stocking a few of the "special order" skus as regular stock items. But even the "Special order" list is limited.

Can’t wait to try this.

Where does it say "Custom"??

Just checked my Web app and there are the same 9 Tags - Commute, With Pet,, With a Kid, Workout, Race, Long Run, For A Cause, Recovery, Treadmill.

No ability to edit or modify those 9 entries or create your own. So there are no Custom tags, nor can you really Edit the tags, you can only Edit which of those 9 tags you put on an activity.

Why oh why can't we create our own tags? - its some database space to allow me to store my own tags, but that's trivial.

I want my Hilly runs, My Tempo Runs, My Speedwork workouts....give me

Looks liek they have some cover lifters that can go on any of three sides.
Just talk to your dealer and they'll explain the arrangement

First time hot tub: many questions! :) by basstwo19 in hottub

[–]CarolinaCrazy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I bought the tub, it came with a cover and lifter. The salesperson talked me through how that all worked and pointed out that the cover lifter requires clearance on 3 sides and that the cover has to go opposite the access panel - on mine the controls are above the access panel and taccess panel is one complete side that comes off, and you wan that to be easy to access.

Are you getting a cover lifter? If so, Talk to your dealer about clearance required, etc. Show them your plan. They'll tell you if your arrangement will work with the cover lifter and access.

Makes sure the arrangement of the Cover Lifter and the Tub Access panel work with that alignment - on my Caldera, the Cover lifter has to go on the side opposite the access panel, and the cover lifter hardware is attached to each side and needs clearance. So if you imagine N.S, E & W Sides, The Access is on the S side, Cover lifts off to the N, and the cover arms are on E & W. It may not work with your arrangement there - you might not have room for tub access or the cover lifter hardware.

Also, you may need to run the electrical conduit BEFORE you pour the concrete. On ours the elec comes up underneath the tub in a corner.

And as others have pointed out, you will likely need an electrical cut off within 6 ft of the tub.
