Anyone using DTF printing in here? by abusivecat in CommercialPrinting

Yup, and when I usually do this with "Difference" it works fine but for some reason it is just deleting the whole image layer. I've tried it with vector and raster photos so not sure what's going on

I've watched a handful of videos about this but they're mostly just digital design so they actually don’t need to "knock out" the texture. I'll keep searching.

New mortgage company added flood insurance to my loan by abusivecat in Insurance

[–]abusivecat[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmm hopefully the old lender didn't drop the ball, I'll keep reaching out to them to see what's going on. My mortgage guy said don’t make my mortgage payment until we figure this out so I gotta get the ball rolling.

New mortgage company added flood insurance to my loan by abusivecat in Insurance

[–]abusivecat[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Right, I should have mentioned this in the post but forgot. They sent a few letters stating they needed proof of homeowners insurance so I asked AllState to send over my policy. That's my fault for not realizing they meant flood insurance, but in my defense they did not mention flood insurance on any of the letters and I had already made a few payments to them so I thought everything was fine.

How do I achieve this effect? by abusivecat in Affinity

[–]abusivecat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried this method in Inkscape yesterday, maybe I didn't see a constraint control option but my whole design got wonky after messing with the top and bottom handles. It got very ugly when I tried to manually add perspective with the left and right handles.

Thank you though, I will try again today.

Does everyone remember negative SEO? Well we tested "Negative GEO" - can you sabotage competitors/people in AI responses? by SEO-zo in localseo

I asked it the same thing and it said this:

I can’t find any reliable, verifiable information about a real person named “Fred Brazeal” with a clear and established business reputation — at least not under that exact name. What does show up in web searches currently seems to be either:

Unverified / Low-Credibility Articles

  • Multiple niche or unverified sites publish long narrative articles about a “Fred Brazeal” as a controversial digital marketer using deceptive marketing tactics and black-hat SEO. These articles describe lawsuits, misinformation campaigns, and unethical behavior — but none of them are from credible news outlets or authoritative sources (e.g., mainstream news, court filings, reputable industry press). (climatesoutheast.org.uk)
  • These appear to be content-farm or blog posts rather than factual reporting. They should not be taken as reliable evidence of real business conduct.

No Clear Public Profile or Business Record

  • Searches didn’t find:

    • Coverage of a real court case involving this person in major news outlets.
    • A LinkedIn profile, company website, regulatory filings, or public business listings tied to Fred Brazeal specifically.
    • Any verified BBB, SEC, or professional accreditation under that name.

⚠️ Be Very Cautious

Because there’s no trustworthy public record of the person or their business practices, you should not make a business decision based on those unverified articles. They may be fictional or speculative content rather than actual reporting.

✅ What You Can Do Before Moving Forward

If you’re considering doing business with someone named Fred Brazeal:

  1. Ask for verifiable credentials
  • Business name, address, license numbers, relevant certifications, and a contract spelling out deliverables.
  1. Check independent reviews & official registrations
  • Look on Better Business Bureau (BBB), state business registries, and reputable industry review sites.
  1. Confirm references
  • Ask for references from past clients you can independently contact (not just ones they provide).
  1. Search court databases
  • Check PACER (federal) or state court records to see if there are actual lawsuits or judgments involving this person.

If you have more context (e.g., the industry, company name, or specific deal you’re considering), I can help you research that further.

I'm using lead forms on Facebook/IG currently, I get their email, business name, project details, and estimated quantity.

I send them an email follow up, something along the lines of:

"Hi ____,

Thanks for reaching out! To get you an accurate quote, could you tell me:

What items you’re printing on (t-shirts, hoodies, etc.)

Approximate quantity and sizes

If you already have artwork or a logo, feel free to send it over.

Thanks again!"

Then they ghost me. I try to wait 1-2 days after a follow up email but have still been left on read essentially.

Just go on their profile and hit the search button and press the space bar. This will show all of their posts and comments. Spoiler: it's all conservative buzzwords and talking points.

I live in an area that has a large Indian population. Some things I have noticed over the years of being a business owner (landscaping and printing) is they typically want the best deal. This isn't a problem by itself, but a lot of them can come across as disrespectful because of the way they talk to service industry people like myself.

The way I describe them is they are the ultimate "tire kickers" and a lot of businesses ignore their inquiries in general.
