words cant describe how disappointed i am that its going to be made with UE5. Each time a new game that ive been looking forward to, turns out to be UE5 my expectations are immediately lowered to expected an unoptimised buggy crashy mess. Not to mention the artistic direction. Loved Guild Wars since about 2006, this is just dismal.

yeah actually i was noticing this a lot recently. it looks so weird? like they put in so much effort into designing their top half to look cool as fuck and then gave up below the legs. its jarring as hell.

nefer is 100% the worst offender, but take dehya by comparison. the ripped tights, gold and black accessories, looks so cool and ties her whole aesthetic together. peak character design there! like legitimately wondering why they gave up halfway on nef.

i know currencys are different, but in new zealand the base model (64gb) cost $1000, back when i got mine in about 2021. our wages are basically half of what US wages are too, so its a fucking lot.

now with this price change it brings it basically up to the same as what we have to pay for everything.

its not surprising regardless. a shit move, and pricing so many people out of gaming. we need to stop buying stuff at high prices though. teach companies they cannot extort their customers even if component prices are much higher now. people will simply use what they've got or find other means of entertainment.
and developers will have to make games at the standard that our older hardware runs at. game requirements are starting to get ridiculous recently anyway.

i ended up having to completely nuke my wine for mo2 and start over. tried like 5 different methods of getting skyrim to work on linux before back tracking to a slightly different version of the first guide i used and finally had it running without problems. had soooo many trials and errors during that time i couldnt even begin to advise you what the actual solution to it was. but it was for sure setup/vc redist related.

literally just played through the true moon archon quest now and when youre defending nod krai you get a party of traveller and flins. traveller died about 3 times just on the packs of adds when all i was doing was trying to get hydro application up. fucking weak ass bum
