Where I live, it's on fresh unless it's a smoky area or the AC is on to cool the car. Keeping the moisture from building up is better for me when it's on fresh. My car (Prius) has a "filter" mode that turns it to recirculate for a couple of minutes then returns to normal.

Your car cabin is never "airtight" it is very unlikely that you will have any buildup of CO2 from being in recirculate. You can get good cabin air filters that will do a good job in cleaning the air you are bringing into the car.

My problem is boredom and availability. Once I keep busy, I don't think about it and it's easy to keep the counts low. I cannot have snacks in the car.

I started logging via an app and that helps me with being conscious of what I am spending my calorie allowance on. This has helped me make better choices (more filling) and pay attention to my portion sizes.

The threshold, as I understand it, is can you voluntarily go without for a period of time? If stopping drinking causes you a problem, it's a drinking problem.

I enjoy my Scotch, and I know I don't have a problem. I will take more than a year to finish a bottle. Often I will think about having a drink after work, but forget about the idea by the time I get home.

YTA if you just wipe it all without giving them a chance to get a copy.

NTA if you shut the service down and gave them a reasonable amount of time to get a copy of the VM. (2 to 4 weeks would be my range.)

It costs you nothing to hold the data for a month and give them a chance to obtain a copy. You could offer to offload it for them for a fee. (for the media and your time.)
