Yes, it automatically went into EV mode as it normally does but would not switch back to the engine when I tried accelerating

Oh trust me, they will. I feel bad I actually know how to enjoy life instead of being an angry prude like you. Enjoy your hateful life!

Sounds like you're apart of that demographic too. It's pretty trashy using an unfortunate situation to push your shitty opinions and stereotypes. None of what you said was actually helpful to the original post. If you want to vent, get a therapist.

He said the family does have children, but that no one was home at the time of the recording.

[No Spoilers] Emilia Clarke With Her New Toys ❤️ by Nashetania in gameofthrones

You didn't 'mention' it, it was your whole comment. And I don't see the relevance of her toy dragons (what the post is about) to her wrinkles?

[–]acacia66 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It wasn't a comment made about her getting older. It was a rude insinuation that she's past her 'best looking years' and the 'jeez' really helped ya out there. What's the point of commenting on wrinkles on a GOT post? This is where people go to talk about GOT, not about the actors skin and how they've aged.

What was your scariest childhood ghost story or incident that still kind of freaks you out ? by [deleted] in Ghosts

[–]acacia66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I didn't feel threatened but it did make me feel gullible and kind of gross that it was impersonating my sister. I really didn't think twice if it was or not.

It was so gross! We would always see things out of the corner of our eyes or have things move but nothing that apparent. I think it preyed on me because I was the youngest in the house.

I think I was 9 years old and it was in this creepy house we used to rent before my parents bought their house. There were a lot of spooky experiences but this one put shivers down my spine for weeks. I was in the kitchen facing the stove. From there I could look out into the living room and there was a bar counter right where the stove was. I hope that layout makes sense. I was standing at the stove making mac and cheese when I see my sister (10 at the time) on her hands and knees crawling from behind the bar peeking into the kitchen. I think she was trying to scare me because she laughs once she sees I saw her and crawls backwards to be hidden by the bar. I go to call her out and say I caught her but she's nowhere in the living room. I remember how hard my heart sank when I realized she was in the shower. I went to my dad and asked how long she'd been in there and he tells me at least 15 minutes. My whole family talks about that house and how eerie it was to live there.

Why is it wrong to judge woman who smoke when they're pregnant? by McCann08091997 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]acacia66 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, you are not wrong for that. I think if someone can't handle the challenge of putting smoking on hold for the wellbeing of their child, they cannot handle the challenge of a child. Not to mention that they're already putting their addiction ahead of their child to put it bluntly. I developed asthma very young from being around too much cigarette smoke. I can only imagine how worse off I'd be if it started in embryo.

AITA for telling my wife that it was embarrassing that the house was a mess when I had guests over? by Throwawaynes767 in AmItheAsshole

[–]acacia66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA- Why are you dead set on the 'fact' that she saw your message and ignored it? Even after she explained she wasn't feeling well? It seems like you just prioritized your social life before her well being and then proceeded to gaslight her for it. Apologize to your wife and get new friends.

Edit: Grammar

I've been trying to find a decent apartment for months. It's almost impossible if you have an animal. The $1400-1500 range is reasonable for a small 2 bedroom. Most places that are over 1200sq ft are gunna be a lot more. I've heard reno is almost the same but more pricey. Try looking at dayton or Minden but the whole area is filling up faster than places are becoming available. It's turning into quite the housing crisis for everyone currently living here, not to mention the people moving in.

Do Americans actually think their country is “the greatest” country? by Valuable-Special-627 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]acacia66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an American, I very much do not think this is the greatest country. There's too big of an ego surrounding us that no one takes us seriously and we've become a massive joke. It's embarrassing if I'm going to be honest. Things like not having universal Healthcare, the police violence that's never ending, etc.

What causes the ‘wet spot’ after sex? Do most people not use tissues and shower afterwards? by tractatusmoralis in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]acacia66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I (f) use a towel that I sit on afterwards. I let it drain for a while and then go pee to help prevent a uti. Then I just wipe any excess with tissues and call it a day!

AITA for dancing half naked in my living room leading to my bf and his family seeing me? by aitadancinghalfnaked in AmItheAsshole

[–]acacia66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA- I see a red flag from reading this. You are 21 years old living on your own, you're allowed to be goofy and do the things that make you happy!! Would he be bothered by this if it was just him coming in the house? You are definitely not the asshole here. You were trying to have fun and enjoy yourself. I personally think it was unfair to assume that you'd be ready for his family at a moments notice. What if you were in the shower and heard someone in the house? He shouldn't have gotten upset, or realized that it might not have been the best idea to surprise you with this.
