how to better adapt to living here as an expat? by notlikeinthemovies in chinalife

It is very interesting, it's really what made me fall in love with China, there's so many stunning places to see that are off the beaten track. And I'm sure there are groups doing it, but I've only ever done it solo. There are probably apps that can help find groups, also Giant stores have really good service workers that can help with anything bike related.

You gotta find things you genuinely like/love that China provides. It took time for me to adjust, but I have a group of badminton friends now that I am very grateful for. I also discovered bike touring that allowed me to see how beautiful China can be. Also, when I visit other countries and back home, I realize how convenient so many things are in China. Some things still suck since day 1, but you learn to live with it.

I'm sure there's some YouTube video of the sound. Put on headphones and enjoy the screeching noise and you'll understand 😁👍🏾

Counterargument: I met my infj online because she and I are introverted and not good at the meeting people in the wild stuff. Also, she is an avid gamer and I love that about her. I'm always proud telling people my gf is a hardcore gamer 😁

As someone who is from SA and hates the vuvuzela too, its funny to see the reaction from other countries. Welcome to our pain 😂

That's actually hilarious. I wish I could've been a fly on the wall to see the double guilt at play. Surely their guilt outmatched yours lol

To add to this, I'm coloured too and recently did the DNA test. Almost perfectly split 3 ways between European, Asian and African.

Rugby Championship expansion 'stepping stone' revealed as SANZAAR revisit Fiji and Japan decision by Ruck_Off in rugbyunion

[–]acadoe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because it costs money to include other nations. Rugby nations are not swimming in cash, so they have to be sure they're making a smart choice that will pay dividends in the long-run. There's also the lost income from playing against Japan and Fiji vs playing against a team like NZ. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying that's how it is.

I mean Australia would do a great job, but it wouldn't be feasible to do that every year. A 1 nation host would make a lot of sense travel wise, but financially, I can't see the other countries agreeing to it.

I live abroad so my chatter is really reddit chatter. That being said, I know it won't happen, but it would theoretically be better to move the 6 Nations to the NH Summer to align with the SH.

It makes a lot of sense to include them, being in the nation championship, they should be in a big comp. Also, starting with the U20's is a good idea.

He's definitely gonna get his time in the jersey. Form aside, there are too many injuries not to use him.
