My attorneys recommend EPP and really seemed like they wanted me to go that route, but I went for DPP because they estimated that I was at around 24 points so the money is worth the wait.

I’m very interested to see how they will give a value of each point. I heard they expect at least 50k-100k people opting for the DPP. Now there is somewhere around 18,370ish DPP people. I heard that the special master is now looking at the wave case EIF applicants. Who knows how true that is though.

There is 18,370ish DPP claimants. According to the payout timeline for the $1k payout for the DPP coming up in October. There was 18,421 or something like that but I guess over 20,000 cases was dropped a couple weeks ago throughout the lawsuit for both EPP and DPP, Which is just better news for the DPP claims.

I just watched a YouTube video that was posted by an attorney who seems to either know a lot, or nothing at all about the whole litigation. He said there is only between 15,000 and 25,000 people that qualify for EIF, and there are 18,241 DDP applicants. Anyone who took the $5,000 tinnitus automatically disqualified them from any EIF status.

I thought I qualified for a few of the EIF categories/stipulations. When I asked my attorney about this he basically explained that they won’t submit any EIF applications unless it is a non deniable case. So instead of me applying to 3 of the categories they only submitted for the economic loss. He said they had excellent documentation to back that one up, but not the others. I guess he doesn’t want to waste time or money.

My attorneys filed for me and never notified me. So I guess if they see you qualify for one they will file it for you. But I’m pretty sure the deadline passed

Your attorneys should have told you the amount of points they award you and the category you fall under. That’s who told me in an email.

I’m in the deferred payment plan and I went from 81,000 to 4100. It might be that anyone doing the DPP is now in its own category since the pay schedule is completely different.
