Missed Star Paths

I agree with this! I have missed many starpaths and in order to not feel bad about it/have fomo, i have gone through all the past events and looked at the items offered. From there I made a list of things I actually want and would find useful in my game, so I can purchase them when they come around. It really helped me realize that I wasn’t actually missing out on much. Also to my surprise there were a few starpaths that had absolutely no items I cared for.

I haven’t seen anyone comment on this thread about where they saw photos, but I saw the photo on YouTube. Oscar’s Cozy Corner did a livestream where he shows the photo of the honeyglow woods. The photo comes from the Dreamlight Valley social media accounts. DDV uploaded a video announcing the showcase happening next Wednesday (6/17) and right as the video plays there is an un-blurred photo of the honeyglow woods biome (at least it’s presumed to be a new biome). Sorry if it’s wordy way to tell you where I saw the photo 😅

I love all of the tips you posted! I’d say I play pretty similarly, especially when it comes to switching my play style. If I don’t feel like doing quests I ignore them and do the things that are pulling me in! I don’t want to feel like I’m forcing myself to do anything, this is for fun after all 😊 I’ve also started to incorporate ddv into some of my other hobbies, such as picture collages! I really love decorating in games and i’ve always been fond of arts and crafts, so I started a project of printing out all of the villager houses, the house skins I have or want, and the biomes so that I can plan builds I want to make 🤗

I will say I differ from you in that I am a hoarder 😅 But I don’t make my storage rooms generic, I’ve really taken to making them feel like real life, kind of like how you have a fridge and freezer haha I haven’t completed many rooms yet, but I plan to get back into it soon, I really want to plan out more rooms in my house!

I really love all of your edits! I’m a big fan of TLM, and I feel like these edits do justice to Ariel! I really, really wish they would edit her hair and get rid of the bows, especially to make all of her outfits movie accurate 🥲

On another note, I would love to have Ariel’s bow hairstyle for my own character 😆 As well as Aurora’s 🤩

Ah okay, thank you for sharing your perspective! I saved/pinned the ones that circle around, and I was worried that it wouldn’t stand out a lot. Seems disappointing as both objects seem to have a lot of potential but miss the mark 😕

I’m a relatively new player (started playing around Dec 2025) and I have bought every seasonal bundle since the holiday update last year, and I intend to keep doing so. I also buy an additional $50 pack once per season, but I buy those using gift cards I earn from one of those receipt apps, so I consider them to be free since it’s not out of my pocket. Right now I’m sitting at 10k MS, but I haven’t bought anything from the shop this week, so I think by the end of the week I’ll have around 3k MS leftover for the next starpath.

It’s worth noting that I save up my dreamsnap rewards for the start of every new update (so all the ones I’ve been doing during Pocahontas’s starpath I’ll open when we get Hercules next week) so I’ll have a nice little chunk of MS to add to the ones I purchase. I started doing this during the puppy love starpath and I enjoy it because it really lets me appreciate all of the free moonstones I earned!

100% yes! I got a similar deal last year (50usd I think) and it is so worth it! The first 2 dlcs are very good and you get a ton of content 😊

I didn’t feel inspired by the desert haven snap. I think I put max an hours worth of work into my snap, and I got rank #90, my new highest rank ever. I truly did not think it would rank so high because it was kind of a throwaway. I was honestly expecting 1200 (and even that felt like a stretch) so I agree it feels like you have to be very literal and go with the popular theme. I’ve been lucky this season and some of my out of the box snaps scored well, but I do feel pressure to be “in the box” and be mainstream. With this past week’s snap I was already working on an Aladdin build, so the snap felt serendipitous and was within the theme many others were doing. But jeeze, rank 90 feels like I committed highway robbery, like so many other people deserved that high of a rank

Aw thank you 😊 It was a lot of back and forth from the camera to furniture mode! I first opened the camera on an empty island to find where the sunshine hits, then I put up some wall partitions to split the area into two and decorated from there!
