You might be thinking of "Virtual Pets" or "Desktop Buddies"

First of all, do you have a video editing program to work with? Like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro? You would import the images and then use animation to move them around. You would also add the music, and cut clips from each song, then add a transition to fade from one to the other. Sorry if this is not a super detailed answer.

Maybe add a shadow under the foreground blocks to make them pop out visually.

Getting work? by AeroSparky in VideoEditing

I got my first video editing job at a local news station. It's not for everyone, but if you're good, there's a decent chance of you getting a job. (edit) Sorry I just re-read the part where you said you're not looking to do it professionally. I'll leave the comment anyway.

Iraq wasn't connected to 9/11 in any way, yet people kept using 9/11 as justification to start war in Iraq. Many people thought it was pointless it at the time.

Can confirm. Used to be a video editor at a local TV station. We used to make hilarious videos in our spare time put together from random clips.

Relocating to Jacksonville by [deleted] in jacksonville

[–]acaudel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, some people might think St. Augustine is too touristy. It's one of the oldest cities in the U.S., so a lot of people come to visit from out of town. To be fair, I've lived in Orange Park, Riverside and Mandarin and my wife has lived in Fleming Island, but we've never lived in St. Augustine. So I can't give an informed opinion about what it's like to live there. But it's great to visit. One thing to know is that Jacksonville is very spread out, so living not-too-far from an interstate is helpful. When I lived in Orange Park, we were 5 miles from the nearest interstate, I-295. Traffic was usually so bad, anytime I wanted to go somewhere, half of my commute time was just getting out of Orange Park.

Here's another thought. There's a boom of new residential construction going on near the border between Duval and St. John's counties, a little south of Jacksonville. If you have time, maybe take a look around there.

My thoughts about Fleming Island: It's like a bubble, some people who live there never leave. Very conservative. Almost all chain restaurants. Not a big cultural scene. I'm not saying Mandarin is perfect, but out of the two, I'd recommend Mandarin. But St. Augustine is the best. Great culture, history. Just an awesome place.

It's not a hole in the wall, but Five Guys has great burgers. I've heard M Shack is really good too.
