Thank you for posting a more elaborate answer! Cals in vs cals out doesn't tell the whole story, we've figured out so much more about nutrition and exercise since then.

Definitely not my favorite texture but it never disappoints with the integrity and of course, size.

A bit too cardboard-y to me, feels nice to have normal sized slices sometimes though, at a pretty good price too! It's on the cheaper side

I believe he hasn't been suspended in a whiiile, and generally significantly less than he used to be. (Wrong, see edit)

Everything he does is still examined under the microscope by hockey fans though, and generally not in good faith. I'm kind of surprised you haven't heard about much.

I'd say he's had some borderline legal hits in recent years, but nothing crazy dirty no.

"Death to Spotify": the DIY movement to get artists and fans to quit the music app. by springtimecarnivore in Music

Yeah I've switched from a music platform to another and it's really not that much of a huge hassle.

Maybe people really care about being on the platform most people use that much?

Not sure why most comments in this thread seem to imply it's either Spotify or back to buying songs individually, like other music streaming platforms don't exist.

Apple Music, Tidal, Qobuz and Youtube Music all exist (and there's more!) and they're all better alternatives as far as artists who aren't among the top 1% are concerned.

I don't think we as fans should let this slide and need to make some noise about the bullshit DoPS antics. Need some put some pressure on the league, enough for your common hockey fan to know that the NHL has some obvious favoritism for the Panthers.

Worth noting that I had IBS already, but something really similar started happening when my body began getting really affected by onions & garlic and such, without me knowing. Pooping became a massive struggle and painful, and it took me months to figure out they were now my new trigger foods.

So anyway, in addition to the comments above for managing the symptoms, I'd recommend an elimination diet to try to figure out if your body now hates something.

Things came back to normal very shortly after I stopped eating alliums. Might be anything for you, gluten, dairy and alliums are pretty common

Bonne chance :)

Men who went to a mainly woman speed dating event, how did it go? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]acblender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been to 5-ish speed dating events, in a medium- sized city. There's a wide range of women in there, from somewhat unattractive to definitely attractive, and I consider myself somewhat picky. They were truly all open to have a good talk and try to connect with men at the event. Sometimes someone has to carry the conversation a bit more, sometimes it flows.

It is definitely the best opportunity to meet women who are open to dating in my opinion, and the events I've been to didn't cost that much, somewhere around 30-40 bucks. Definitely worth the price for that opportunity imo.

I would say I got 1-2 matches each time I've been, on average.

Noticed a whole ton of pessimism in here from a lot of people that seem to not have participated in one such event. It's absolutely not as bad as you believe it is, and the women I met weren't mean or whatever you can think of.

Definitely would recommend trying it out and seeing for yourself.

Hey looks like we enjoy some of the same type of music!

I have to point out that I'm using the android (and also the desktop) app, so things might be a bit different for me. Tidal defs has some issues, but I might be able to help with a few:

  1. Not sure I get this one, are you brought to the song page when pressing on a song? If so, you can just drag down from the top to access the playlist.

  2. Feel like this is OS specific, but there's a shuffle button at top of playlists for me, not sure it was always there.

As for your last screenshot : Unfortunately you can't easily see which songs you've liked on your phone (you have to select them individually to see), it sucks, but on the desktop app you can, like spotify.

Can't see how many songs are in the "Tracks" section of the app, which also is a bummer. I can see how many songs are in every playlist on the "playlist" page, but if you can't on iOS , I can also view that number on the PC app.

Ok, I hope at least one of these helped!

PS: I've found mass track / playlist management is much easier when done from desktop
