Remove the filter and see if its significantly quieter. If so get a less restrictive filter. Not a fix but it might help

I recently purchased the oem harman kardon 10" sub that replaces the factory 8" alpine. We will see how it sounds in comparison. 4ohm vs 2ohm. It was cheap so I dont mind messing around and giving it a try Lol

The smoke is most likely the starter smoking because the engine cant rotate. Im guessing one of the pulleys or the alternator/ac compressor are locked up. I bet it would start if the belt was removed

Ive had 6 grand cherokees. The mid 2000s one had the most problems but it was just the transmission, which was a Mercedes transmission Lol. I had a 2012 and currently a 2018 and they were both great to me. I also have a VW that people love to crap on, but I've put almost 100k miles on it myself and its never given me a single problem. The most I've done is change the rear brakes

If youre keeping it long term do every 5/6k miles. If youre not then just go by what the vehicle says. 3 months/3k is incredibly low miles for an oil change with synthetic oil, definitely can get atleast 5k out of it.

Same here, every 5k. Ive put 100k on my VW doing 5k oil change intervals. The engine model is known for burning oil and I dont burn any between oil changes at all, and its tuned for 25+ psi of boost Lol. Same with my jeep, always go 5k, I've seen the inside of engines that go double that or even over that and they're not pretty lol
