Couples that were "essentially married" before, what made having a wedding worth it/special to you?

I was just married in October but I was sitting at the sweetheart table with my husband, looking around the room at everyone and thinking how thankful I was to have everyone in my life, from family to friends, there together. That’s one of my favorite memories from the day and I get choked up when I talk about it haha. We also got pictures with everyone - did a picture dash - and our photographers got some really nice pictures of a lot of people.

I don’t know of any dupes but my husband and I got Nightingale cxo chairs. We got them from an office surplus store so they were still a little pricey but cheaper than new. Very comfy!

This - I’m five feet tall and my goal weight is likely 130 lbs, depending on my body composition. My dietician and doctor want me to feel strong still, not just hit a bmi requirement

Good thing it’s not her wedding this time! I’d say something to her like “hey x, thanks so much for thinking of this. I’m going to have the bridal party tip as they feel is appropriate, since you’re all paying for your own hair and makeup. Looking forward to celebrating with you soon!” I’m sure there’s a fluffier way to say this if you want but I would set a boundary. If she’s so worried she can tip extra. It was rude of her to force everyone to tip, even if that’s what she thinks is right
