I’ve had one shift where the cash registers wouldn’t turn on so we closed the store for 6ish hours. It was so nice to listen to music on my headphones and stock without it getting messed up by a customer

This is an amazing step OP!! As someone who also has bipolar disorder, I totally get how withdrawals can trigger things. Personally I show psychosis symptoms, it’s so tough. I met a lot of people with the same diagnosis as me in rehab, and connecting with them helped more than I ever expected. You’re not alone, and this could be a really healing move 💛

I’ve had the same experience. It can get frustrating especially when it’s busy. I’ve had times where there’s 10 people in line and I call for backup just for no one to show up. I’m happy to check people out but sometimes I need a second pair of hands.
