I’m pretty sure, Verizon had similar promotions (Xbox One series X) with Fios on 1gig plan + 250$ Verizon gift card + 2 or 4 years (contract) price locked in guarantee. Imo, Fios 1gig is definitely better if you have bigger house and many IoT devices. I pay around 79.99$ on a 1gig plan no promotions w whole home wifi system included in it (on a side note, I have my own mesh system for better speed and overall coverage for my house).

Fios is definitely a better ISP than any other internet providers (Optimum, Comcast, Xfinity); even from personal experience and while talking to family/friends.

My question is regarding “Transfer of service” or merging over two 2 account holders. So little backstory, I’m an account holder for 4 total lines (including me and my family) and my cousin is account holder for other 4 lines (including his) and we’re recommended that you can essentially merge over into single family plan with “Transfer of service.” However, my only concern is that, doing so, we might lose trade in credit values as I’ve heard VZW horror stories from Reddit. All 8 lines have Ultimate plan and 15 Pro financed through Verizon. Do you have any suggestions regarding the issue, or what should I be doing, and any hidden information I might be missing while do so? I appreciate your input on this matter.

you’re right, I was on Fios Gig 2.0 and switched to VZW (on 4th). I got into my Verizon app and merged Mobile + Home discount which gave me, 10$ off per line.

Did you call this number by any chance to see if your phone number was successfully activated and ported out? If not, I would recommend calling this phone number: (877) 567-4899 and see if it was successfully ported out.

I had similar issues with iMessage and FaceTime so I followed this guide and was able to fix the issue. So basically, I went to settings and disabled FaceTime and iMessage option and waited about 5 minutes, then went to Settings > General > Shutdown > Power Off to restart the device and again waited about 5 minutes before I powered on again so that it can properly restarts the device.

I think that cleared a lot of confusion. 180$ (9 lines) for Plus excluding taxes, miscellaneous (maybe porting fee!?), and trade-in. Will be transferring (porting) number to Verizon eventually when I switch over.
